Could we get something like open all containers button? A shortcut button to salvage would also be lovely.

Whenever I go wvw or some pve events or even spvp I end up with tons of garbage. It would be nice to reduce the chore of opening each container, in many cases encapsulated in another container, to just one click. Option to salvage all is nice, but I would like to suggest further improvement in form of preselecting which class of item is to be salvaged by which salvage kit and then just go with one-button-salvage-everything click. Thus opening containers and salvaging the content would be limited to two clicks.

I’ve seen people do it with hotkeys, but I would prefer a built in solution.

In general I think salvaging and opening containers is a system that requires some tweaks to change it from boring chore to something slightly less boring.

The problem with a “open all” containers idea is people getting more items than their inventory can hold. This backlog of items might cause issues with the servers. If there were large numbers of characters all doing it at the same time, who knows what problems that could cause.

There are also containers that prompt a choice. What would happen with them in this feature?

I suggest only applied this only to ‘Material’ and ‘Currency’ bag.
Champ and gear bag should be open manually.

The salvage all already fixed this. The last salvage that causes spillage stops the autosalvage and asks you what to do. Same thing can happen with the bags. Open one by one until you get the spillwarning
