Proposal Overview:

Been thinking about this one for a while and think I got the issues out of the way in regards to safe guarding economy in terms of it being flooded with cheap legendaries and pre-cursors.

so let’s get going

Proposal Functionality:

Using the collections achievement system you get a once off achievement track to a legendary of your choice.

to get started on it you speak to Historian Dozza in Divinity’s Reach, then choose the track for the legendary you want.

then once started you go through the usual motions to get the gifts and each gift is a step on the way to completing the track.

once done the reward is a pre-cursor for the legendary you chose.

Proposal safe guards

Both the pre-cursor and legendary are account bound upon completion so they cannot be sold for a quick buck.

Also the achievement track is a once off so it cannot be repeated as to prevent further inflation or deflation of current weapons on the trade post and to prevent the market from being flooded with pre’s and legendaries.

this is purely a suggestion.

If the precursors and Legendaries are Account-bound, why does the track need to be one-off?

so as not to destroy the economy in the game. yes there are players with more than one account but a lot don’t.

But, if they are Account-bound, how will they destroy the economy? They can’t be sold.

if everyone has access to easy (and I use the term easy loosely) legendaries you lop a significant amount of time and gold sinks out of the game.

currently a lot of people are hedging on selling pre-cursors and legendaries to buy the one they need or other stuff they or to get gems, once you remove that you will wreck it in that regard as one of the things that keep folks going is the chase for that nice vanity item.

so the idea with this is to give them a taste and still keep the old system intact aswell.

hence why the whole suggestion also still uses the the mechanics from the existing method so as not to go create entirely new systems but rather use existing systems in game.

So, this ‘easy’ precursor is limited to one per account? Ok. So, it would only affect the economy for those that create multiple Legendaries. Got it…I think. Though, I think those with Alts would be dissatisfied, perhaps. /shrug

I’m confused…what does 21 accounts have to do with the discussion? I would assume most players don’t have multiple accounts, and if they do, it isn’t anywhere near 21.

folks with multiple accounts can use this but heck that’s a lot of passwords to remember

also 20 accounts seeing as eternity is a no go as you need to legendaries to make it

MM SO you want eveyry character of the game with a legendary?
Its alrdy happening, legendaries arent special anymore
ANd if you want a legendary , just buy the prec from the TP!

I am nearly finished with mine. I actually got a precursor drop in game.
