Hi.
I have played GW2 and HoT now for a while and this Game is awesome. But as I’m playing I see some quirks in the Game that could be better. I think two Qo Changes would make the Game more enjoyable.
1. More Sections to the LFG: Right now the Open World Tab for the LFG Tool is a cluttered Mess. You want to look for Dry Top T6? SW Events, SW Chest Farm or AB Meta for example? Good luck finding it through the Mess we now have.
There is almost everything posted in the Open World Tab. Some Things that should be moved to Dungeons or Fractals Tab but also Raid Groups looking for Members or Players looking for Raid Groups. These Things don’t belong in the Open World Tab but they have to post it in the Open World Tab because there is no Raid Tab. Adding a Raid Tab would clear some of the Mess there und having a Tab for Core Tyria and HoT each would also make Things a bit better.
2. HP-Bar. Right now we only have a Bar that shows some Red color and nothing else. This is the most basic form of an HP-Bar. But it also has a Problem. We have open World Bosses and Raid Bosses who trigger some Mechanics when they reach a certain HP percentage, like the 66% Intermission Phase on the Vale Guardian or the Stop Ports on 80% on the Blue Thrasher in SW Breach.
We also have skills and Traits that work only ( or much better ) when the Boss has reached 90% 50% and so on. For most of the Mobs this isn’t a Problem because they die really fast. But for Open World Bosses or Raid Bosses this can be quite problematic.
Take a Reaper for Example. Above 50% the Reaper has some Average DPS, not really good but also not really bad. Below 50% this is where a Reaper can Shine. Not only can he do 20% more Damage due to a Trait, his Gravedigger now can do really good damage, but here is where the HP-Bar becomes a Problem. From 55 to 45% we can only guess if the Boss is under 50% sometimes it looks like he has less than 50% HP but is still above it and vice versa. And guessing to see if you can now use some Skills is really arkward, since you could have used certain Skills much earlier or you just waste them.
I would suggest to adjust the HP-Bar that you can the HP Percentage of the Target. Seeing if he has 49% 24% or 81% would really help and make the Game a bit more playable.
What do you think of these Suggestions? Or do you have more Suggestions for QoL Changes?
