[Suggestion]Reputation and Invasion
Reputation is a bad idea due to Megaservers.
The World Boss invasion idea sounds pretty cool to be honest.
I like dungeons and Ikea.
aka Cotscene.
@Phoenixlin.8624 i am sure there are many ways to make it work. They could make it as a daily achievement which would be saved, once the achievement is complete the character would have access to the npc no matter in which server they are.
In any case, the idea is to have faction/race/map/etc daily achievements (dont need to give points) which send the players to different places to make a better use of the maps.
@Cotser.7015 yes, since Scarlet came with her invasions i am thinking in something like this.
About the duels: could be 3 kinds of duels.
The 1st one could be a more friendly one and when the npc is defeated they could surrender and give the reward.
A 2nd kind could be more agressive and fight to death, this kinds of npcs could be blocking roads (in this case they could ask for money to let the player pass and if the player dont want to pay they could try to kill it).
A 3rd kind could be more like the Belcher’s Bluff: could challenge masters to duels with special skills, similar to the bletcher’s bluff but with combat skills. If the player wins the master could teach them new skills.
Invasion idea is awesome, would love that. Reputation is just another grind, see WoW for example, bad idea. Duels, awesome idea. While they are at it let us duel other players.
Sounding dangerously close to a rep grind like in WoW (which was hellish). Love the invasion idea though, really miss those types of huge random map-wide events from at least one other mmo I used to play.
I would like to have the invasions too, i think they did it well with Scarlet. It is just a mater of have the dragon minions to start to do the same.
About the reputation: maybe was a bad idea to call it like that, it is more like an extention of the daily achievement things. The idea is to give people reasons to go to different maps (visit diferent places) and do different things than what we do now.
