I think it would be a great idea. A standard one can be in the gemstore while a chrome one (uses juggernaut armor shine) can be won with an achievement. Maybe longer skirt than in most animes (like K-On!) while men have sleeves, pants, and shoes dyable separate from the body even if it’s “supposed” to be one uniform color (wow…two completely different definitions in the same word). The skirt pattern will be a nice plaid and the plaid patterns will have two seperate dye channels, one for the main plaid and the other plaid will share a dye channel with the leggings. The jacket will have its own channel so to keep it within four dye channels we’ll have jacket, shirt, stockings/secondary plaid, and main plaid, shoes stay black only since it’d be weird wearing gray or burgundy shoes tying the shoe color to the main plaid color.

I’m asking for respectable uniforms, not cheesy theme costumes. It won’t be kinky because no cleavage, longer than usual skirt (just above the knee), and be heartwarming and sweet. The male equivalent is equally conservative: long sleeves, high buttoned, and vest.

Besides we already have unequip all for kinky stuff anyway, for free.

The one in the picture is a good idea for the male version but with a tie, shirt, and vest visible underneath the coat instead and logos replaced with Tyria appropriate stuff.

I would like that, take for example the school uniforms of class 0 in Final Fantasy Type-0.

I think that people who come up with these ideas only think of human and how they would look.

How would my Charr look in a human school uniform. What about my max size (very full breasted) female Norn, or a max sized male Norn for that matter. Suddenly the look changes from heartwarming and non kinky to ridiculous and/or kinky.

I definitely think charr and norn need to be taken into consideration too. A roomy male cut jacket for female norn to avoid it being tight may be a good option. For charr they made the noble count outfit great (on men, haven’t seen female charr in it) so they could certainly do so again. But then again there would be engine limitations to work with.

As for asura it shouldn’t be too hard, maybe shorter skirts and poofy shoulders for women and shorts instead of pants for men?

The first year the game was out, someone data mined a school uniform that never made it into game. Skimpy Japanese style school gril outfit. Since it’s never been brought to the gemstore, I’m guessing the idea was axed.

There’s enough of weebs running around befouling the game with their uninspiring Japanese names. If you want anime, go and play the myriad of anime games already in existent. There are lot of these small games for small minds out there.

Yeah. This one. Very old data mine, from back when there were town clothes. They also datamined paperbag helms with faces drawn on them and some sort of jester outfit.

I’m sorry, but I do not need to see female charr in schoolgirl outfits. That datamined preview was horrid enough, even for me.

We have a serious lack of plain clothing available. I would be interested in school-type uniforms. So far I think we only have a few options available if you want your character to be in a suit… there’s the Count outfit and the marriage one. But nothing has just a normal button-down shirt and tie type of look. I’ve wanted a necktie for quite some time, and I’m sure people would appreciate bowties as well.

But i kind of agree that it might not fit into gw2’s world.

Then again, Fancy Winter’s Outfit, Jungle Explorer Outfit, does look out of place in gw2 as well….

But hey, its around 250+ years after gw1, maybe Cantha have already reached a modern age? Just saying. =)
