Shadow Assassin Armor, not an outfit, so we can put different Armor sets together. Finally some beast-looking footwear for Mid-Armor-classes and we can’t merge -.-

I’d like some Light armor for males and females both that looks like actual Robes. The -only- one I can think of at the moment is the pants from the Winged set, that insect-like one. All the others are typically dresses for women, or skirts with pants for guys. Why we don’t have more actual Robe options boggles my mind and makes me cry a bit on the inside.

Yeah, I agree with the whole outfit thing. I wish Anet would turn them into skins instead. I hate being forced to show all pieces.

I really like the shadow assassin armor too, just not as an outfit.

Perhaps Anet could still call them ‘outfits’, but make it so that you can tick the boxes of each individual piece that you want shown, so that you can mix n match with other pieces of armor? Or just make them all skins. That would be easier…

Edit: And still no Kasmeer’s Bikini and Lord Faren’s Underwear leg skins? I am disappointed.

In GW1 my warrior had a signature look. Bright silver armor, Icy Dragon Sword in one hand, Darkwing Defender in the other. The most noteworthy thing, however, was my snowman mask. My vote is to bring back the Freezie Crown!

Agreed. I really like that helmet but not a fan of the rest of the set (at least for males because the female pants and bun in the back is cool) so seeing ourselves be able to mix and match pieces would be awesome.

I totally agree with you Ronin, one of the strengths of this game is the ability to mix armor to get a unique appearance.

I might have missed something but when I checked yesterday 800 gems did cost €10 which is exactly the same as they did cost back at release almost two years ago.

Gem prices in gold is immaterial to item prices. Those prices are entirely controlled by players by their constant use of gold to gem conversions which is what raises the conversion cost.

The Gem Shop is a Cash Shop. It’s there to buy things with cash. The ability to convert in-game currency, gold, into the proxy currency the Gem Shop uses is primarily there to pay out to players wishing to buy gold with cash without creating the gold from scratch and impacting the game’s economy.

Is was never meant to allow a majority of players to acquire everything they want for free from the Cash Shop. ANet chose funding the game after launch exclusively with the Cash Shop so you can understand that they need players to spend real money once in a while. You can supplement your Gem needs with converted gold but ANet makes no money on gold, only cash.

How about no outfits in the Gem Store since they cost way too much as it is and are non-customizable/able to be used for mixing and matching with other armor pieces. Or, if people do want such things, either make them considerably cheaper or make them something you need to earn out in the world, for example.

Just leave the armor sets in the store for purchase and for use as we see fit on our own toons. These are GREAT ideas for such sets in the future:

When you stomp someone, a ‘Get well soon’ balloon comes up from their body.

Had the idea after seeing a picture of roadkill with one of these balloons tied to it.

If you end up putting it for sale, a copy of the finisher sent to my mailbox would be swell

Oh, and a light armor outfit that looks like legit robes, or traveler clothes, for females. No more dressy ballgowns, please? I’m going out there to kick butt, not dance at the ball.

Mask of the Wanderer ’s price re-evaluated and adjusted down to a more reasonable 150-250 gems instead of the outrageously obscene 500 gem price tag for what it is.

I know some of these might have been mentioned, but I figure I’d add my voice to it seeing how we got that lovely bobble head table, water balloons and the awesome ninja outfit already:

I’d love to see:

- a Japanese style school outfit for boys and girls;
- a new style of underclothing – yellow is (ducks head) old and disgusting;
- interactive dancing for players – two people dancing together like ballroom dancing;
- have an option to carry other players and blow kisses emotes (will throw money for these).

I’m hoping that a subsequent LS chapter will introduce a Gift of Ambrite mining node. But failing that, I’d like to see one in the gemstore; gathering enough Ambrite is proving to be quite a chore. :/

Definitely seconding the Katana idea. A long, thin greatsword would be so great! Also a single handed katana (sword) would be worth paying for too.

I adore the assassin outfit! I’ve put it on two of my human alts already. It looks so great on female characters.

It would be great if they came out with samurai armor too or some variation of canthan heavy armor, like the one the warriors wore.

A Golem armor skin(no outfit).
Applicable to light, medium and heavy armor.
Basically a fullbody armor that is the asuran equivalent of a modern exoskeleton.

A silver-fed upgrade extractor. Like the current upgrade extractor only reusable for a cost of several silver to extract each time.

I’m a masochist so personally it’s not a terrible experience to be left wondering if this item will ever come back, but for many others the uncertainty must only cause them suffering. So on behalf of the majority I selflessly ask for you to bring this item back even though I’ll gain no pleasure from it myself. If this isn’t the definition of altruism, I have no idea what is…

Hmm… You know, it’s probably a bit Farmville’ish, but I’d actually like a little garden in my Home Instance where I could plant 3 – 9 plant nodes of my own choice, and harvest them every day. (Yes, it’d probably crash certain ingredients, but I think Chef is in big need of some shake-up. Some ingredients are way too expensive while others are way too cheap.)

I’d like to see an arctic weather gear costume and perhaps another one fitting for the desert. In Rift my assassin dwarf wore camouflage gear appropriate for each climate zone, I’m sort of missing that here.
Apropos, could we get a costume slot saving the applied dyes? Reapplying them time and again is tedious.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned already or if I missed it when reading the others. But both with the release in China, the fact that the Japanese also make up part of the fan base and the fact you can get Phoenix (Zhu que in China/ Suzaku in Japan) weapon skins via trading in Black lion ticket scraps/ tickets. As well as Jade dragon (Qing Long in China/ Seiryu in Japan) via the same method. I would like the set to be completed by adding weapon skins based around the tiger (Bai hu in China/ Byakko in Japan) and the tortoise (Xuan Wu in China/ Genbu in Japan). Even if it means having the other two as a permanent set in the gem store.

Armour skins based around these four for all the armour groups (meaning medium and heavy for phoenix not just the light armour I currently see) would also be a good idea. Since you already seems that you started doing that with the light Phoenix armour anyway. Or failing that keep it so that the Phoenix is light only, have the medium get the tiger armour and have the heavy get the tortoise because of the shell. I am not sure which one dragon should be though it could be all three in theory. And I am well aware we have Draconic armour but I was thinking more along the lines of being based off of the already existing jade dragon weapon skins.

As for non skins how about a miniatures surprise pack that gives you two common miniatures and one of the Special miniatures that can no longer be obtained otherwise. And then you could make that newly obtained Special miniature account bound so that is could not be sold on if deducting from the original value of the already obtained ones is an issue. Which is to say it would have the name of the Special miniature then something else in brackets like “ld” (lucky dip) or “gs” (gem store) so it would be easier to do this. Also if they don’t exist already miniatures of some of the world bosses might be a thing to consider.

-Particle emitting dyes. (like sparkles, glow, stars, bubbles, drips of water, fire)

-Truly white hair (not grey, not light pink, not light blue… white.)

-Costume gender toggle (So you can wear the clothes of the opposite sex, I don’t even care if there is sometimes a bit of clipping.)

- Rainbow hair

- REALLY long pretty hair

-More beautiful, yet mature looking female face (light wrinkles, but sexy shape to face)

- Crowns and tiaras

- make up masks (helmets that work as nice makeup)

- BIG FULL SIZED ANGEL WINGS in black and white (preferably dye-able so we can do weird things like pink and green wings.)

- Rox’s Quiver (again, pleaseeee)
– Capes ( Im ready to pay!)

I’d pay for fractal staff/scepter/focus to get the delicious misty trail that the other weapons in that set have, although the should been implemented with them……..

Crowns and tiara’s. Not circlets that go around the forehead, but actual crowns that sit atop the head.
Casual hairstyles. There are a lot of exotic hairstyles. More common, casual hairstyles would be appreciated. Such as for example and preferably, a plain ponytail.
Balloons. I have all three kites and yet I would much prefer to have balloons. Just goofy random red, or blue or multi-coloured balloons to activate and jump around with. Kites are literally my favorite toy in the game.

And that’s all I can think of for the moment.
