I would love to see the Tracker for Daily Achievements unlinked from the Watch List.

I shouldn’t have to manually add daily achievements to my watchlist or remove my watch list to see what’s to do with daily achievements, even more so with the Living Season 3 Maps having all their own Daily Achievements.

I’d really like to second this. I find the “automatic daily achievements” super-useful to have, since I like the structure of doing them daily.

At this point, though, all the things on my achievement tracker are larger scale things like “token collector” in Ember Bay, where I work on it gradually, token by token, over the course of a long time. (Also, apples for Hal, which is time gated, sat there for some time.)

Context Menu in Sell To Tab
When you right click on something in your inventory, you are given a menu based on the type of item you have. Maybe it’s destroy, maybe “Item Collection” is in there, maybe “Sell at Trading Post”, maybe “Deposit Material” (or that one is greyed out).

For me it would be useful to see that behavior on the “Sell” tab at a vendor. Often times, it’s easier when faced with a lot of collapsed bags, and already being at a vendor selling off junk material (and tier 1 runes and sigils), to then just start right-clicking on those items you see in the “Sell” tab (which, is just your inventory) and be able to get the same context menu you would from your inventory, to perhaps sell an item on the TP, or deposit it, or destroy it (understanding that items with no value don’t show).

I think it would be nice to add in a reward track that would let you earn a gift of exploration from PvP/WvW. It’s something that I sit here and wonder why it hasn’t been done already.

  • Unlocks after having completed world completion once
  • Functions similar to the new living story reward tracks
  • Still requires players to complete the content at least once
  • Gives players who have done it multiple times/players who prefer WvW an alternative way to obtain it, letting the person play how they want

Overall I don’t see how it can impact the game in a negative fashion. It still lets players obtain it to the old way if they prefer, and it lets others obtain it in a way they prefer.

The only argument one could have is “less players will be on the maps”. Even then a portion of players who are doing world completion are typically there just for the hearts/poi/vistas and then they’re gone anyway. Those players already add very little if no value to the event chains going on.

Just food for thought, it’d be nice if this would get added though

I think a separate specialization tab would be really usefull, this way you can bind a key to it and quickly open it on the go.
I find myself changing traits alot, so just pressing one key instead of open hero panel and click on the second tab would be really nice. (i guess this was already discussed but couldn’t find another post so here i am)
Thanks.

A few inventory suggestions:
-A “Borderlands”-style “mark as junk” option. Selecting this option would allow items to be sold instantly when clicking the “sell junk” button. Junk items would have this “flag” on by default, but can be removed.
-A “disable special properties” for inventory bags. Checking this box would turn any special bags (invisible, ones which don’t move when sorted) into regular ones. This would be nice because of times i’d be selling loot, only to find out when I’m in the middle of the jungle that my invisible bags are full of loot which overflowed into there.

When you are using something like a magic carpet or a flying broom ‘movement’ toy, the feature was added to make it ‘pop on’ when you start running around after a few seconds. Fun. I also noticed that if you take off to glide and you left that toy enabled, it will come on after a few seconds, making you fall to your death. Not so fun.

Bug (imo) aside, why not let it come on, but ‘not’ stop the gliding process! That would be pretty awesome to glide on my broom and carpet.

Why I saying this mostly for guild mission, it happen to me a lot we are doing WvW guild mission and we need to split the squat in 2 or doing dolyak scort and coordinate 2 or more groups for doing it faster and some time is anoing to the people on the map have a Tag doing just that.

I’d like to see a rework done on the item screens. They are so cluttered and wordy. Too much to read! I’d like some more graphical representations of what I’m looking for.
I’ve attached a revised item screen from a vendor shot.

1. Remove the “Masterwork” labels. The item is color-coded anyway but for those who don’t know that, have a mouse-over option.
2. Armor icon on the right with the item in green, i.e. this is head armor, therefore the head is green, the rest are red. (Same can go for weapons, though that might be harder to display as there are so many.)
3. Three icons to represent light, medium, heavy armor with the green one representing the item’s weight. (I couldn’t get good icons. These are just ideas.)
4. Required level below the armor icon with green box if you meet the level and red if not.
5. Wardrobe icon below the stats. A red X if you haven’t unlocked it maybe?

Extras:
Need to find a way to more clearly show if it’s a collectible or not. I’m always scanning all the words on an item to see if it is, and the “collectible” word is just plain and white and small. It would be nice to have an icon in the bottom right corner perhaps to show if it is a collectible.

For the love of the Six, please let us multi-select things to sell them and to move inventory around. I have spent 50% of my in game time managing my inventory, which is usually loaded with absolutely worthless crap even from the hardest fights in the world.

And how come loot always comes in containers, but I can’t fill a bag and then put that bag in another of my bags. I would kill for being able to actually organize my loot and inventory without it being an hour of my life after every evening gaming session to sort, sell, salvage, deposit, find a banker, delete the better stuff just because it’s soul bound but I don’t need it – so wasteful and disrespectful of my time. Especially since things being soul bound doesn’t even make any sense. If I won it, or looted it, i should be able to sell it!

Probably mentioned this once and again, but the character screen needs a rework:

More characters visible in selection. At 20+ characters (I can’t imagine 60+…), it’s something of an obnoxious scroll to get all the way to the end if I want to play my least recent character. At least being able to PgUp/PgDn to scroll would help loads with this.

Character filters. Daily PvP has Necro in it and you want to find your Necros? Boom, checkbox filter. Need to get those daily ascended crafts? Filter for that too. We could really use some better character management tools.

Show the dailies, please! For PvE, I’d like to know if I can get away with one of my sub-80s that I’m working on, and for PvP, many would like to know what classes to bring in before logging in.

Smaller character model. The size of the character model dominates the screen and wastes a lot of space. And sometimes it still manages to clip off the screen. Squish them down to a more convenient size and let selection options fill in the space.

Many alts; handle it!

Dear Arenanet. could you inplent a way for us to have our gathering tools on all our characters without changing it all the time from character to character. This is so annoying if you use daily an other character. A lot of the time you dont have the gathering tools with you because you forgot it on your other character. And then you have to relog but it in bank and then again with your other character relog and run to a bank to change. And putting them in shared inventory slots is kinda a waste. There are other things you can use that slot for. I dont think it is suppose to hold your perm tools. You already paid like 1000gems for your perm tools. This would be loved by so many people who have perm gathering tools.
For example you could put it in a way like the Archievement point Armor or weapon skins. There is a tab where you all the time can withdraw those Archievement point skins. Why not implent this for Perm gathering tools?

we need to have a separate setting profile to each character.

it is a hassle to keep turning off auto targeting for using guardian’s leap of faith to navigate through map whenever i switch to guardian and turning it back on for every other characters i logged on.

From context I assume by “auto targeting” you mean “snap to target” for ground targeting?

While it would help in this case to have it per character, be advised that it’s much less of a pain if you keybind it. I have mine on CTRL-S (mentally that is S for ‘switch’ to me) so I will never hit it by accident. This lets me toggle it on/off even while in combat if I want to quickly drop an aoe on mobs that aren’t by my current target or set a missile reflect barrier between me and my target rather than on top of it.

The problem there is that there is no indicator as to how you have it toggled other than watching the behavior of the green target circle, so you can blow a cooldown dropping something in the wrong place before you realize which setting you’re on. I don’t know how to add an indicator without creating visual clutter, but it sure would be nice to know at a glance.

Auto targeting is auto selection of target when u autoattack. If u have auto target on, u will leap of faith to a target in the direction u dont to go or undesirable aggro when u have a mob nearby. If u have auto target off, u can leap of faith pass nearby mobs and in the direction you want to go.

Right i should keybind auto targeting. Thanks for advice @Donri

  • Toggle option “Automatically hide gear when out of combat” (GW1 feature)
Reason: There are plenty of cool head pieces in the game that cover the entire head. Players using these also like to hide the mask sometimes to show off their cool charr horns or deluxe faces. It would be cool to have the old GW1 feature back to auto-hide hideable gear.
  • Improvements to the customization of the UI or at least, toggle hide option for the clutter and dirt.
Reason: ArenaNet wants their players to appreciate their world and the work that map designers put into it. We got to know this when they improved the player’s camera and gave us customizeable sliders that enhances the field of view back in 2015. (link)
A player made a mod to remove the unpopular dirt background layer of the skill bar and other parts of the UI to make it look cleaner and make us see more of Tyria’s beauty. It is called Immersive Combat Mode (ICM), which comes with extra features, but is certainly on the grey zone of the ToS as it contains code that could very well abused. So why isn’t ArenaNet giving us a simple toggling option in the vanilla game?

Two Quality of Life requests I’d really appreciate as a long term GW fan.

It can be implemented to the game in a few hours! (I am sure this won’t take more then a few hours.)
We need the ability to change the place of the guilds in the guilds screen!
This is SO MUCH annoying to see your OWN guild in the 3rd place! And it is not only annoying it is totally ridiculous!
Just place two up and down buttons beside to the guild list! Or give us just the freedom of drag and drop!
Please give us ability of change places of the guilds in the guilds screen!
Come on folks please support me on this problem. I am SURE that most of us want this feature to be implemented to the game!

Hello,

When trying to sell green items on the trading post, there’re often buy offers that don’t match the minimum price. It’s a waste of time, because I need to check every green items one by one.

My suggestion is :

Add a specific report link in the right-click menu in the TP, so that it’d feed a little bot that’d check whether the item indeed has a best buyer that doesn’t offer the minimum price, and if so, flush the whole buying queue. (as if “offer canceled”).

Such a bot shouldn’t be too hard to code. It may take a little time to browse all the possible green items, but it’d be an eventual nice QoL improvement.

Hello there, just a few things I wanted to ask if we can see some changes on. Sorry if these topics have already been posted and or this is the wrong spot for them.

1st Topic: Ascended and Supplies Vendor
In the Raid Practice Area, with the Golem and you test rotations and builds out for dps, it would be REALLY awesome if there was a vendor that sold Ascended Armor, Weapons, Trinkets, Back Pieces, Sigils, and Runes. Of course when you left the Practice area the armor and everything bought from the vendor would be destroyed, removed, or whatever. The benefits of this, is so people can test out builds more easily instead of spending a lot of time farming gold and mats to make the armor. This also allows a chance for other stat groups, besides the 5-7 stat groups in the meta, to maybe be made into a viable build. Cause as state above there are 20+ stat groups, but only a small handful are used. Doing so will hopefully allow people to test more builds out and maybe each class can have more than 1-2 builds for raids, fractals, etc. It was brought to my attention, that a issue with this is, people use the Practice area to do raid tryouts and people would use this vendor to cheat at tryouts. A solution to this could be placing a buff on the person, that is always first on the list, so it cannot be covered up, saying, “I am wearing borrowed armor!” or something along those lines.

Topic 2: Leather
I am sure everyone is aware of the HUGE leap in price on leather, specially Hardened Leather Sections. To make a full set of EXOTIC armor it cost a minimum of 60g, for 6 insignias, no matter the stat group, takes 180 Hardened Leather Sections for the Gossamer Patches. A way I think we can help lower the prices/make it easier to farm, is increase the drop chance from salvaging Bloodstone-Warped Hide, maybe make it 100% chance for Hardened Leather Section, 50% Chance for a bonus leather of any type, or 75% chance for Hardened Leather Section, etc. Cause maybe it is just me, but spending 60g to make JUST the Gossamer Patches for Insignias seems like way too much. I have several characters just sitting naked around Lion’s Arch cause I cannot get the armor!

Topic 3: Charr Clipping
I have noticed with Charr specially, that clipping is a huge issue in the face. I was just hoping that we can get a fix to this, cause it really messes up some outfits. Like the Rev headbands, the new glasses on the MP, A LOT of things clip on the face. If people are willing it would be cool to reply to this with pictures of examples.

Topic 4: Experience Scrolls
It would also be really awesome if you could exchange the Experience Scrolls(The Auto 20 and 30 Levels) into Tombs of Knowledge. I got a lot of level up scrolls and nothing to do with them!

I made a separate topic for this as I wasn’t aware this thread existed until I looked up after I created my topic but I’ll copy and paste my topic here.

Endless Tonic and Town Clothes Tab

So I’m one of those people that likes to collect endless transformation tonics and I have a few favorite endless town clothes but I have a problem… They are taking over my bank space!

Not only that but I want to take these tonics/clothes with me however bag space is also a problem as well as wanting to use the same endless tonics/clothes on multiple characters without having to store them in the bank to transfer them over and over and over again.

You’ve done it with dyes, wardrobes, and outfits; could it be possible to make an account wide collection tab that unlocks tonics when you use them the same way you unlock miniatures and dyes?

You already have it so that the first use prevents the tonic from being sold again, so why not alleviate some bank and bag space by making a tonic tab!

When looking at the LFG window it should be made apparent if any parties exist in each category, and also how many.

Some of those categories are unused because people generally only look in the main ones, but if there was a visual indication that there is a party looking for players in less used categories, such as the Mentoring one, then those would actually see some use.

As someone who plays a large Charr, I think there needs to be a change to the Action Camera, to let us re-position the vertical ‘crosshair’ of the screen – Having it in the dead-center of the screen only really works when the camera’s in First Person mode, which doesn’t work for regular gameplay.

Ideally, the Action Camera’s crosshair would be in the center of the distance between the top of the screen and the character model (I’m not quite sure if the reference point would be the feet, waist, shoulders, or head), not the bottom of the screen.

Hi. Just 2 quick little things. Many people have set up private residences in far flung corners of the guild halls. Could we get a bed as a decoration so I don’t have to keep sleeping on my plush sofa?

Second. I’d love to see some work done on the little beach social area in Southsun Cove. Maybe expand it a little and add some services. I like hanging out there with friends but its pretty bare bones. Thanks.

Wait, what?

About Agent of entropy and Hobby Dungeon Explorer achievements:

After completings these two achievemnts (250/250) and (200/200) they keep appearing in the Nearly compleated list without giving additional AP which is really annoying because it takes a place in the list without provinding useful information. Hopefully the team removes them from the nearly completed list after being completed.
