And based on people breaking out of the maps the underground areas are actually rather big.

Exciting! I gotta work more go get this beautiful sets...
I doubt I will ever get the Luminescent armors, but I’ll be grateful if I’ll get atleast the Carapace armors..

Carapace armor will probably be acquired the same way as the last patch, as a reward for finishing the story “missions”. So if you want all three, just complete the missions on three toons (gotta be faster and more rewarding than going after the bandit crests needed to get a carapace box).

Looks promising, but it’s still more open-world PvE. I hope some other areas of the game get some love this season.

I’m guessing you’re referring to wvw and pvp?

That would probably be more likely to fall under their ‘feature’ patches which deal with systems as opposed to LS which are ‘content’ patches – open world and story.

But either way, I agree. Pvp and wvw could use some luvin too.

I always get filled with dread when I read stuff like that, due to many experiences regarding how well compete strangers DON’T coordinate with each other.

I generally see it as the BLTC sets being a major way of funding the free content anyway. It’s not like you HAVE to buy those sets, and you certainly don’t have to buy them with real money with how the gem store is set up (plus, ~100-120g for a really nice skin is probably better than what it would cost if it were just a random new exotic drop or mystic forge recipe).

Seems fair to me, plus they add a lot more free content than most sub games add ‘free’ content! haha.

Its not so much that they’re in the gemstore. I have no problem with skins being in the gemstore (in fact I’m gonna buy the new outfit, like I have with all other outfits). Its that they’re behind the rng bullkitten. I would happily buy several of them directly from the gemstore if they were direct purchases (like the biconics weapons skins).
