I got so much karma, Yet i cant spend it towards the Obi shards, I don’t like doing a dungeon with random tryhards to get (FotM) my shards, No one is doing temples anymore, i have been keeping a eye on multiple sites that track the temple states…
Never EVER since 2weeks have i seen one open(not sure about b4 the 2 weeks)… The vendor should be replaced/relocated/ Always accessible… Its just impossible to get people to do it these days.. Got the Karma , just no other way then to waste it on Orr Boxes that drop 10 shards per 150-200K Karma… Please Anet, Make the vendor accessible at all times… The Temples are just dead!!

Don’t look at the temple sites because they are no longer valid.

Orr is almost always live and open now.

On Gandara (my server) I have yet to see any temple open, And since im limited to 1 guest per day, its a game of Russian roulette, Hit or Miss… (Miss for 2 weeks so far)

Mega servers have combined all server maps together. Temples are always open now. You need to waypoint there to see it.

Yeah, Desert Storm, what are you talking about? There are always tons of people in Orr now, and if the temples aren’t open, there are always people about to open them up. Just get to Orr and head to the temple you’re interested in.

Strange, been there quite often , wasn’t open, Guess bad luck, haven’t gone there in a bit, thought the temple check Sites were still working, Nvm then

The only thing I can think of is that you may be playing during off-peak hours and there just aren’t any people online?

But yeah, the sites are now invalid and you need to actually be on the map to determine if it is open since the Way Points will always show contested now.

By the way, there is no Gandara anymore except in WvW. Everyone is dumped into overflows now (called “megaserver” instances). Guesting does nothing.

this is so not true that I find it’s strange.

My experience is complete opposite. I have a hard time looking for a CLOSED temple for the events and the loots. Temples are OPEN everywhere.

Also, there is no limit on guesting now. You can guest to any number of server as you like.

When I look for closed temples, I guest to all of NA servers in a row and may not even find a closed one. And between all the servers, there’re only about 5 or 6 versions of megaserver.

ps: do you check for temple by only looking at website and waypoints from another map? because you have to be in the map to actually know. The waypoint status is wrong and not reliable with megaserver.
