Guild Wars 2

So this achievement/collection requires the player to be sucked into Tequatl’s whirlpool attack. That much is simple to understand. The problem arises now that player’s are so well versed in the Tequatl fight, Teq isn’t given the chance to actually cast it. I’ve done some light reading and it seems he doesn’t use the whirlpool attack until he is -75% hp. So the only time he casts it is if you’re lucky enough in the first phase, he might drop it just before he leaps into the air. OR, your subsequent burn phases are inadequate, and he isn’t pushed into the next battery phase in the burn. I haven’t seen that happen in god knows how many attempts.

So what am I supposed to do? I’ve tried logging into a Teq map 5 minutes before the spawn, and even they were co-ordinated enough to take him down too fast. I logged in past the spawn, and it’s just a desolate map with no hope of getting him below 75%.

This is literally the last step for me in this collection and it is frustrating to all hell. I know I’m not the only one in this boat, because in every Teq, I speak into map chat and there’s usually 2 or 3 other people waiting like me.

What’s our fix? I can’t really convince a zerg to do crappy dps for my sake.

I did it after 5-6 tries. Sometimes he casts the skill when he flies for the first time. It’s a matter of luck. I don’t like it and think they should change it, but at least you can finish the pre.
