While leveling I usually bought Karma gear as it was almost always superior to the drops that I was getting. Only problem was how to get rid of it? Someone in the forums suggested that I toss it into the MF.

So while tossing Karma vendor junk into the MF and out pops a (I’d later find out!) precursor that my toon could not use. Not knowing what I had I just tossed it back in.

I paid my Abyss dye 1 gold.
When they told me it’s now 20+ gold I started laughing histerically.

I do this all the time with soulbound stuff, never got anything but reduced my bag space
where you 80? I’m rather curious about this.

Got an Abyss dye on launch – used it.

Got an Abyss dye on alt one month later – sold it for 4g.

Before anybody gets mad because of me making my second legendary:
I finished Twilight 02.November and am now missing Zap, 50% T6 mats, 60 Lodestones, all the Runestones and 30% of the karma for Bolt, having only 500g to my name. Going to be another month or two :-).

I get accused of being a gold buyer since I have two.

I’m going to get my 3rd this week – not sure what is going to happen next ;D

I would just like something nice to drop in the first instance. To date I have levelled to 80 and completed map 100% and still not had anything of real value drop for me. I have even spent hours in Orr and the Karka Island and still nothing, (how the hell are you supposed to get legendary pre-cursors)

I must be the most unlucky player around.

You are not alone. I’m in the +1000 hours played club and have never had a memorable drop. My thinking on tuning the loot system is to shoot for giving the common player a few omg moments per thousand of hours played.

Got abyss dye during head-start also. I hung on to it because I didn’t know which alt to use it on. Ended up selling it later for 14g.

On the other hand, I had a ton of passion flowers from opening consortium chests. Not realizing they would go up in value, I used them all to level my crafting up….Looking at the prices now, I could have sold them and bought a precursor /facepalm

When I was new, before I started salvaging and using the TP, I got a Spark of Rage during The Lost Shores event.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry

I tend to be blissfully ignorant to whats worth money and have a short-term memory. So, if I do by chance come across something thats worth money and KNOW its worth money, it will be sitting in my inventory.
