OK… the gas mask… I love it. It turned out to be the perfect complimentary head piece for my engineer. So amazing in fact that it’s worth a thread to show off what you’ve done with your gas masks!

SHIFT+CTRL+Print Screen will take a screen capture without the interface (skill bar, chat, etc.)

You’re gonna get a Guild Member temp-muted if you aren’t careful with photographic evidence like that. (Yes, I know only your Guild saw it live, but here you are posting his indiscretion for all to see.)

Here is mine, i want to find fitting shoulders but no luck so far.

For backpiece the jetpack would be perfect, but i do not have 500gold to spare : P

I am extremely upset with the gas mask. I LOVED it and worked so hard to get it. But then I found it had only been modeled to MALE charr, NOT female charr. So while it looks great on male charr, it has horrible clipping issues with female charr.

That sucks, hopefully Anet fixes it. Charr are getting the short end of the stick way too often here.

I thought aqua breathers were considered head-gear, but I can’t seem to be able to use it on that. It’s a shame. Would make a cool looking diving mask.

Makes my guardian look scary. I didn’t like it to begin with, but once you find the niche to use it it’s quids in.

I really do love the gas mask skin – it just fits so perfectly with all the recent Gem Store medium armours – Aetherblade, Magitech, etc.

I really like the mask . . . I just don’t know if it suits any of my characters, argh. This is one of those times I really wish it was just an unlocked skin instead of a one-off item.

I used the gas mask to complete my iron man themed outfit.

I reeeally wanted it, but when i got it, i realized that the air filtration skin fit my main much better.

i LOVE all the heavy armor renditions of the gasmask. can’t wait to get mine and mess around with it.

@panzer – my male Norn Guard looks pretty close to yours lol. almost the same armor pieces and GS!

You know what upsets me about this picture?

My 12 year old daughter has so far gotten two celestial drops, with limited play, to my none. She sold them both (with Daddy’s approval of course). Well… guess “upset” is the wrong word. That’s my girl.

More Gas Masks!

The gas mask needs to be brought back. I took a break from GW2 and missed out on getting one…

If an item is so popular that it has its own thread then for sure it needs to be brought back via some sort of medium whether it be trading post, gem store, or another quest.

Here is my Gas Mask Engineer!

Fused Gauntlets, Gas Mask and Magitech with mostly Molten coloring.
