Since I started the “things that are done right” thread, I thought it was only fair to start this one as well. While there are things in the game that we love, I know there are things in the game that drive us crazy too.

Please keep your comments respectful in nature and apply constructive criticism here. If you feel there is a problem, offer a suggestion to help fix it. If we can keep all of our stuff in one post, it’ll be easier for everyone to follow and read. Again however, these are opinions and are subjective, not necessarily facts.

1.) World bosses – some of these still need some additional buffs and help. Shatterer, Shadow Behemoth and Maw are still yawn fests.
2.) Guild management tools – Even adding last online would be of massive help.
3.) WvW – while I enjoy WvW, there needs to be a way to add more incentive for people to join and to somehow balance servers more easily.
4.) sPvP – again, I enjoy this – more game modes would be nice though.
5.) Living story – While I enjoy this as well, and I know it’s being worked on, but keep it up with the permanent content. This is needed.
6.) Why aren’t ascended weapons you craft sellable? Ugh.

Plenty of stuff in Guild Wars 2 needs work.

1. Build variety…there’s not enough of it for some professions
2. How ranger pets act/behave/survive in dungeons
3. Too much RNG in precisely the wrong places…stuff like precusors
4. Not enough quests that make you think…everything is spoon fed…well most stuff
5. Too much emphasis on achievements, which is good in some ways but really bad in others
6. The marketplace needs better sorts (you should be able to sort armor on heavy, medium and light for example).
7. Little, useless inconveniences, like way point placement in some dungeons. There’s no reason to make someone run back such huge distances, now that you can port while in combat.
8. Story mode dungeons need to unlock explorable mode dungeons on every character…it’s too hard to get groups for story mode dungeons

I’m sure there are more, these are the ones off the top of my head.

I’ll add a few more.

1. Being able to quickly switch full armour sets, like the Equipment Manager in WoW.

2. A complete overhaul of the transmutation system. If I have full set of gear for stats but multiple skins that I want to use, then I should be able to swap between those sets without having to destroy my stat gear.
This probably won’t happen as ArenaNet profits from selling the transmutation crystals.

3. More modes for sPvP.

4. Bringing all skins from PvE to PvP and vice versa. Why can’t I get cultural armour in PvP? Or the Masquerade armour in PvE?

5. Making all skins currently in the game available to players. By this I mean that a ton of npcs wear armour sets that players don’t have a way to obtain.
I see a lot of charr npcs wearing clothes specificially made for charr, and a lot of those sets are not available to players.

6. Allowing us to transmute town clothes with normal armour.
ArenaNet would actually profit from this as a lot of players would concider buying the silly clothes they put in the store.
Especially the pants, shorts and shirts currently in the shop, as we could get rid of trench coats and skirts.

7. Being able to hide more pieces of armour. If the endgame is based on cosmetics, then why can’t I costumize my character in such a basic way?
Just imagine a huge norn warrior with tattoos and a mighty beard, charging towards you, only wearing pants shoes.

8. Getting rid of armour type restrictions. Just imagine the armour sets you could make if we weren’t restricted to one armour type.
This would also give ArenaNet more freedom with the armour, as they wouldn’t have to say:“Alright, this is a light armour set so it has to be some sort of dress”.

What we do in life echoes in eternity

This came to mind immediately.

More emotes. Seriously, where are my /flex or /taunt? Or the ever so cathartic /fistshake?

Better non-human armor. It’s just sad to see how few sets of armor actually look good on Charr or Asura.

Karma nerf needs a slight rebuff. It’s way too inconvenient to get karma now. Or at least buff the karma from DEs. I mean, only 200-300ish karma on my lvl 80? Good luck now trying to get any karma exclusive items.

Nothing major here, just some small things that keep bugging me:

1. Target dropping. Having to re-target every 10-15s is slowly but increasingly getting on my nerves. ( And I didnt mind at all until I read about it on the forums, its one of those things like having to breathe on purpose after someone mentions it. )

2. Weapon sheathing / drawing. Im really not fine with hawing my weapon drawn by being attacked, especially when I sheathed it by command.

3. Lack of combat indicator, maybe a small red cross over the endurance bar, something subtle but visible.

4. Dysfunctional forum search.

The ability to knocks foes off a ledge (potentially to their death).

If they can knock my sorry butt off (potentially killing me depending on the fall), I should be able to do the same to them. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander!

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.
