Note: I decided to post this here since I can’t seem to post in the suggestions section.

I wanted to pitch the idea of being able to use transmutation stones to get the look of any gear. I don’t care about getting the stats, just the look.

I believe this would lead to alot more unique characters because people could use the looks of light, medium and heavy mixed together!

It may mislead people as to what role/job you are but is that really important during battle? Besides, you already have the logo by a users name to identify class. Anyways, this would be a purely cosmetic change and I feel it would be a great addition and free people to create a character closer to what they want.

The character customization is one of the best, why not make it better with full armor customization (atleast for looks).

Wouldn’t work in PvP.

Over the course of a couple AAA MMOs, I’ve come to the conclusion that making sure opponents can read your class via your silhouette in PVP does not help you keep as many active players as allowing people to create characters that look they way they want as much as possible with the assets in game.

Having PvP convenience trump cosmetic flexibility is dumb.

That’s fine, just have for PvE then. that would still makes it available for dungeons, fractals and the open world. Also I would think it’d be ok in WvWvW since it’s so hectic anyway.
