Wardrobe and Minis
We’ve seen a lot of players asking what to do with their duplicate miniatures and some trying to find creative use of their mini friends, in light of the Wardrobe/Collection announcement. We’ll keep exploring options and ways that these extra minis can be used in the future. No promise that anything comes out of it, but we’d rather you know that it’s a possibility!
Was this what Arena Net thought would be perfect for veteran players?
It’s just the first post of the week.
Still, a lot of people do like it. It is something we have asked and asked for.
There are only 3 posts this week. & by the looks of the titles they aren’t major features. I love this change, but seriously.. it’s a tiny “feature”.
I wonder how many ‘tiny’ features actually require an extensive amount of work on the back end. If it’s anything like my last project, some of it might surprise people.
Still, I think most of the things are tiny by themselves. If you take all of them into account though, there’s a significant amount of work there.
If it actually took the gap between feature packs to do this then the game would have never been completed in the time it took.

Well, the tradable ones, you can trade them. Let other players have a go a them.
Then you have the infinite HoM ones. With those you obviously simply discard them.
The problem comes with those you can’t trade but had a cost or are not easy to come by, like the priests of Balthazar or the Jennahs.
Maybe an mini maker NPC (like GW1’s Mahk ) could take them from you “for research”, and give you in exchange something else.
Just make all Minis tradeable and forgeable. fixed.

The millions of Jennahs would crash the market.
That’s why I said “and forgeable”. There will be no market crash because the demand that feature patch will generate will negate that.
Err, what announcement? I didn’t see anything relating to “stacking” for minipets in yesterday’s feature update.
‘In order to make this easier, all minis of the same type now stack in inventory.’
It’s from the Miniatures Blog. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/miniatures-and-finishers-in-your-account-wardrobe/
The hall of monuments minis don’t stack in inventory and neither do the mini Jennas.
That’s the only ones I had duplicates of that I could check. ^^
I’m a bit confused about this ‘stacking’ ability of mini-pets. Didn’t they already stack in your bank and inventory? I know those I have multiples of do. So, what exactly is the announcement referring to?
I’m not a minis expert but when I was pulling a few duplicates out I noted that multiples each wanted their own slot in my backpack. I’ll assume this change means they will no longer do that but will auto-stack.
