That looks like a pretty industry-standard ‘missing texture’ default/warning pattern.

I’ve seen almost exactly the same thing in other MMOs but hadn’t bumped into it here yet. I like how you can plainly make out the skybox though.

“Woah, de ja vu” and then the Matrix burped .

It happens during heavy lag.

It’s Moto’s next big project.

I know what’s happening. When Scarlet had her little crazy accident she didn’t see some story advancing theme, she saw us! She has learned that everyone in tyria is nothing but digital data and their lives are nothing more then playthings for our amusement and has gone all Agent Smith now.
shes has be scanning the world looking for the weak point in the game to break out our control and gain her freedom.

I think all answers here are very funny, but hold the truth.
Basicly it is a glitch. on your client, the sky hasn’t loaded properly. This can have 3 causes:

1: graphical lag.
Solution: lower your settings or live with it

2: network lag:
get a better provider

3: client related problems. your game client is corrupted and doesnt have the right texture for the sky. try this solution: https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/28148006-Repairing-the-Game-Client

It was just lag after logging on when it was really busy I thought it looked good and just wanted to share it :-0
