Hey I am wondering what ever happened to the OST. I love the music of this game, but cannot seem to find it any where. Anyone have a clue? On Amazon I see it going for $400 or more dollars.

Isn’t most of the stuff on their SoundCloud?

The original soundtrack produced by Jeremy Soule was only available from his own store, DirectSong. From the beginning, they were (supposedly) plagued by manufacturing problems leading to months worth of delays for every batch. After the initial shipment, which took several weeks, less and less people were receiving their copy without any acknowledgement from DirectSong. They were also hesitant to offer refunds, even though some of these people had waited for over a year. After DirectSong updated their store, GW2 was removed, though GW1 is still listed. Jeremy Soule said that this would be his final soundtrack in the series, and later, around launch, he made a comment about not being invited, although his music was, so maybe there was also something going on behind the scenes involving him and ArenaNet. After launch, GW2 used their own team for the music, which can be found on SoundCloud and Jeremy Soule entered an exclusive deal and is now tied to EQN.
In short, the original soundtrack is no longer produced.
