What future do you want? A thorough poll...
Small expansions for a small price would appeal to me quite a lot, everyone wants an expansion and Anet probably wants more money. They can do something like Rift does where they’re available on the cash shop, so they’re easy to purchase.

It almost sounds like they do something very similar to that right now, with the Living Story purchases for 200 gems (basically $2.50). When I put this question in, I was thinking about the bonus pack in Guild Wars 1, where you had three or four stories to work through with a few hours of content in each.
It would be interesting if they were to provide larger content at a larger price (i.e. $10). Kind of like DLC…
Answered it, not that it will change anything I fear, we all know what the game needs: content.
I took the survey and liked both questions and available options, looking forward to the results!
Done.
I might add that some things didn´t occur to me as exclusive to each other as some questions suggest. I.e. I originally thought, after/during part 2 of LS2, the last step of LS2 might be a story-mode of a new dungeon. The solo-instances just seemed to lead there as the solo-instances of the personal story lead to Arah, and the felt steps forward in the boss-designs of those instances just lead to more disappointment when it appeared this (a Dungeon at the end) wouldn´t happen.
About world-bosses: They were fine on small servers (especially at night) until the megaserver. I´d actually like that content, too, if it weren´t for hundreds of players camping there, completely trivializing it to a point you only need to make sure to hit 1 soon enough to tag him and hiding the boss behind a wall of effects.
Done. There were things that weren’t asked in the survey I noticed that had limited answers which might skew the results.
small expansions
open world focus (not just living story)
continuation of the arch storyline
new classes (picked mostly three from gw1 but I also wanted to see one similar to what the Asura deal with, magitech, similar to the DnD Artificer)
there was no mention of anything that needed fixing before moving on to new content like combat, balance in PVE, rewards, etc there was also no mention of anything non-combat related that needed updating like fishing, farming, or housing.

You know, I thought I was pretty comprehensive in the questions, but some of the responses I’m getting are showing that I really should have thought just a bit more about this and the responses. I’ve been arguing for fishing for a while now, and I’ve been pushing for SAB as well (but someone actually had to remind me that I didn’t ask a single question about it).
I think, when I put the results out, I’ll be mentioning the things I forgot to mention that some of the responses were asking about.
Im really curious to see the results of this poll. There should even be in game polls like this so Anet can figure out what the playerbase wants even more. Looking at statistics of who spends the most time where only tells you so much.
Im pretty confident the poll results will lean in the direction of expansion, other parts of the game need content(spvp, wvw, dungeons), less living story please. Yet I doubt thats enough to convince Anet to make a game the players want lol.
Filled in your survey. Here’s hoping that could help make this game even better.
Finished. Some really good questions in there. I really hope you plan on showing ArenaNet the results, and they take it to heart.
And because I feel the need to say it again.. more maps, more maps, more kitten maaaaaaps.

I gladly completed this small survey. You really put some effort in this and I think it should be rewarded with lot’s of reactions. Good job on doing this.
nice survey. pretty comprehensive. Only complaint would be that Q16 didnt have a “doesnt matter to me either way” option.
Done, but i did feel that some of the questions steered your choice in a certain direction. Some of the questions weren’t as simple as “yes” or “no” like for example the paid fractals update… I would pay for the expansions but I’d like to know how that would effect party members who didn’t have the expansion and if it was paid for then I’d expect to be able to enter the chapter of my choice whenever I wanted. Adding it at random would be a low blow to players purchasing it!
I answered it as honestly as i could.
Feel like I want to add something I forgot to mention in my former post:
The questions about races and classes seemed to care about the look, theme, name and place inside the lore of it, while what I would really care about are the skills, utilities, provided boons.

Good point, I didn’t think of that. Right now that response is pretty overwhelming in the “keep it at 80” response, but I wonder how many would have taken “don’t care” if it was there.
