Guild Wars 2

We all know there’s going to be an April Fools (1st) patch. It’s obvious. There’s clues, hints, and a giant game-box in Rata Sum that needs opening.

So, the question is: “When?”

Will it happen at 12:01 PST? EST? GMT? YMCA?

I’m just so interested and excited for it, I’d like to know when to expect it.

They don’t have to patch to update the game in many capacities. They have technologies that allow them to make a lot of changes in the backend. Don’t expect a patch, even if there is one it will be back-end deployed with just a build that tells you to restart (which I don’t think they will have to do even). I think everything is already in place seeing as how we had a major patch a few days ago.

Or more accurately for this time of year, PDT.

Actually, since the clocks went forwards, and it says log in from 11pm, meaning BST… the server still runs on GMT.

It’s now about 3pm PDT here on Sunday, March 31st and I’m already getting the 8-bit music.

The Box is open on Tarnished Coast. I’m in RP so I can’t go check it out yet. I have no coins, anyway, so I’m hoping they aren’t required.

there will be a patch today, there HAS to be. Not the box but the balance patch (april skill changes). I will kill 100 quagaans if i dont see skill-rebalancing patch notes in the morning. Im not kidding anet, lives of those quagaans are in your hands, if they die its on you. and i will use the Halloween greatsword for the job

dont need coins to get in… my mate had none.. and got in anyway… goto the box and have a load of fun… i spent a couple of hours in there tonight… lots of fun…
