Whats next?
Looks like Bazaar of the Four Winds is next.
Ok, so the future of Guild Wars 2 can be seen like this from official announcements:
1. The Living Story is gonna be different with Anet understanding the masses that don’t like its current state promising for a more engaging experience. The updates aren’t gonna be weekly anylonger but more tradiotional and longer-term with more content into each one of them.
2. Anet is starting with feature updates directed towards twisting the game mechanics in response to people’s feedback about balancing and other issues. Those kind of updates are mechaniacl and while it will offer new things, those are mechanical and can’t be consdiered content like a new event etc.
3. Anet announced that they are working on two huge projects with expansion-like content to be released soon. The content is what you await from your usual MMO expansions as in the content is gonna be zones, dunegons, classes, skills etc.
So far, they are working on those three projects, basically, LS2 with new style, updating the mechanics of the game and expansion like content.
The mechanical updates are to be started really soon while we may have to wait for an announcement to clear things up about an expansion and LS2.
Looks like Bazaar of the Four Winds is next.
That’s just advertising a bazaar reward you can earn in the Scarlet battle.
The break between story is great for me – gives me a chance to take an alt through at my own pace without interruption.
@ nGumball, much as I appreciate the feedback, reposting vague wishy washy Anet statements doesn’t tell us any thing…
