Guild Wars 2

Title pretty much says it. I’m told some of the Champs in the Orr rotation are event-related, so I figure it might be an opportunity to get more Karma. However, I haven’t found one server that actively farms Orr, say, like Jade Quarry crazily farms Frostgorge 24/7.

Any suggestions?

You might be better off just hitting WvW if it’s events/Karma you want. There are usually karma trains running there.

That is what I’ve been doing for weeks. However, I also need to raise gold to buy off some of the remaining mats for my Legendary. If I can find a server that actively farms Orr champs, perhaps I can chip a little off both my gold and Karma requirements at a time. The question still stands…

They should farm champs in Orr. It’s much more profitable.

To answer the OP, I think that TC still farms Orr and FG.

Not on BG, not in Orr. However most do Temple/World Events now for Orr maps and others. BG still has the Queensdale/Frostgorge champ zergs.

Yeah, that’s the only server any research on my part has ever pointed to. I tried guesting there earlier this week and the area was dead. Granted, this was Tuesday evening (not exactly a peak activity time slot), so I’ll try again today.

I haven’t seem many people farming champs in Orr on TC. But if people can start doing it. This video shows how.

I think my method of farming champs (solo) in Orr is pretty good. The only problem with it is you get zero karma. Anywho I think I should let yall know now how it can be done.

1 – Get a char up to the lvl 76 quests and prepare to farm.
2 – Choose “The Ossurary” quest.
3 – Start, kill the 3 champs and their 3 noob adds.
4 – Leave the instance and repeat.

Depending on your build this can take anything from 5-8 mins to kill 3 champs. You always get gilded coffers and unlike farming Orr/Frostgorge/Queensdale you have NO WP fees to bother paying.

5 – Enjoy. :P

PS you also get a lot of Heavy Moldy bags.

PPS, going with friends or a party increases the amount of adds. It does not really make the run take any longer but does give you more moldy bags as well as faster kill times of the champs I think.

The bots took over orr. Stop and watch them closely — add them to your friends list. Notice how they NEVER log off? Orr was hated from day one — we left it for the bots.
