I don’t get it. Are the guys posting this kind of kitten employees surveying opinions?
In MY opinion we have paid enough and there is already an option (gems) for those willing to support the company further… So what the kitten?!?

There was no employee survey, just a discussion among players.
It’s been debated a lot of times if GW2 would be worth it even with a monthly fee, but Anet on the other hand always guaranteed it would be Buy to Play.

I actually think they’re making a ton more money with the cash shop than they would with subs.

For subscription topics :

Because some people can understand that content & features would be totally different with a sub-based model.
So they want to know what is “missed” with current model & how many players would be ready to switch it.
