PvE/Quality of life

is a luxury ‘quality of life’ improvement & has little impact and gets multiple responses from ‘Forum Communications Team Lead’.

Issue that requires IMMEDIATE attention:
64.25.38.161 IP WvW map is laggy/DCs etc for EVERYONE
x.×.×.162 IP WvW map is laggy/DCs etc for EVERYONE
I have heard from several people that do Teq with TTS that 161 is known bad/laggy map for Teq as well.
Issue has been going on for the past 2+ weeks & no one has bothered to look at it or respond to it.

Issue that needs to be resolved to improve communication regards to WvW:
If you have no control or understanding of WvW then graile should rename to ‘Forum Communications Team Lead for PvE etc’ & assign someone who can actually communicate to people outside of PvE/Quality of life improvements. When was the last time a WvW specific person posted anything on the forums. A new person needs to be assigned so issues get fixed when reported or atleast acknowledged.

Inb4 fixed in two years.

WvW isn’t the only thing unplayable right now, Lag is currently rampant in every aspect of the game, heck right now i have issues doing AC

Can confirm that server IP 161 is always laggy compared to other IP’s. This goes for WvW and PvE.

Both SoS bl and EB has insane lag and disconnections. Need a dev response on this.

they have not had a team to deal with this kitten until recently

it seems they have pve nodefarmer/goldseller bots under control enough that they can expand that teams responsibilities finally.

that thread, despite your sarcasm, is actually really helpful. literally no one knew that sending their videos to exploits@ was completely useless because it is a black hole and is meant to deal with exploits and not griefing or hacks. and now, we have a guy poking his head in to say “hi i can ban people, tell me who needs bans like this.” it may be late, but its not too late yet.

no, all we knew was that it was useless to send things to exploits@, cuz nothing ever happened to people reported like that.

we did not know that reporting cheaters for botting would get a swift response (and its unlikely that it even would have more than a couple weeks ago): partially cuz anet tells us to send everything to exploits@ with generic copypasta posts whenever something like this gets deleted from the forums. and partially cuz no griefers have been publicly banned up until halloween with the guy griefing critters in rata sum.

As I knew it would happen, they’ve moved this thread to WvW with nary a comment or even an acknowledgement…

Anet could care less about WvW. We call complain, they do nothing. Thats never gonna change. The game is dying, and will continue down that path, would not surprise me to see them completely abandon the game.

I’d recommend just giving up on WvW and going to sPVP at this point. At least in their forums you will not only get noticed, but the devs might even perform a miracle and reply in the thread.

For an intended game mode, this forum sure does seem to get less traffic than an Arby’s in a Hindu temple.

We get it, the WvW community is acerbic and not well-mannered. We promise to use strict Oxbridge pleasantries if the development/communication team can meet us half-way and at least acknowledge the existence of this forums beyond CDIs that seem little more than going through the motions.

Nevermind that this particular problem affects gameplay for more than WvW; that they are using 161 and 162 as heavy load servers and they are obviously not up to the task. Whether it’s the connection to the servers or the hardware itself, this is a serious concern.

For it to be swept under the rug because it just WvW this time (words that should not exist in ANet’s minds), doesn’t change the fact that they are operating to faulty servers.

Well it took the devs 2 years to address the the wvw lag before. Out of the millions in profit anet has made on gw2, is their not enough money in the budget to fix a couple servers?

I really wish ANET would look at this issue a bit more.. those garbage IPS…

Very hard to play skill classes in ebg still, 5+ second lag spikes in a gamemode where you need to react to break stuns in .5 seconds or your dead is a little annoying.

Yeah still pretty laggy, at least a response from Anet saying their trying to fix it would be nice.

nothing is happening .

devs say post IP and problems but 2 months later the lag is even worse with every patch
