Quick question: how many skillpoints does your main have?

Why am I asking this: I’m questioning the implementation of skillpoints. My main has about 125 skillpoints and there are not a lot sinks to see skillpoints as a valuable ressource imho.

I’d love to have skill-unlocks tied to specific gameplay rather than to generic gameplay, maybe accompanied with a bit of lore.

Hmm…about 570?, I think. I would have to log on for the exact number.

Well, we will be using skill points to ‘buy’ new skills, I believe, just as we have in the past. And, I believe, some people spend a lot of their skill points on Legendaries. Maybe skill points will be needed for the new Legendary gear, etc., when it is released.

Few hundred at least. And a least another 200 or so scrolls in the bank

Since I stopped doing skill challenges when I hit 80 and avoid using the scrolls, I use the number to keep track of how many times I’ve leveled (roughly).

Back when you could farm anchorage you would get stacks of champ boxes

Ascended armor eats skillpoints like there’s no tomorrow though. Twenty points per armor piece, I’m running out of skillpoints myself (admittedly, 2 legendary gifts took care of 400 skillpoints).

Many of those are just from map completion.

You can probably change skill point to cash with promotion.

Got 1625 on my main, built 4 legendaries on him and other stuff so I would have tons more

Uh ya, thousands. Would be nice to have more things to use them on.

164 I think. I’ve used some making ascended weapons/items/buying new skills. I’ll probably have a not her few hundred when I finish mapping.

Legendaries, ascended, superior siege, a bunch of mystic forge stuff…..

Plenty of optional (and some profitable) uses for them. Are you asking for more “required” uses?

There’s also the 25 point skills that have come out in the last two major updates, and they plan to continue adding skills afaik. With seven characters that gives me a use for 175 skill-points every month or so. There’s a line between giving the people who play 100 hours a week something to do and making 100 hours of play per week a requirement to stay current, hopefully they continue to stay somewhat on the sane side of the line.
