archeage has it, and while i normally don’t want to compare mmos to other mmos, i did find that storing your gold in the bank to keep while you gathred more to be quite helpful, especially when trying to save it up! please please give us this!

I’m not sure what you are asking for here. Why would you need to put your gold in the bank? Has anyone even reached the limit for gold they can carry?

Pointless feature.

This is a feature that was actually removed from the game with the addition of the wallet system.

Get a guild bank. It doesn’t take much to create, 6g for the first 50 slot guild bank. Just don’t drop the guild if no one else is a member, or else you will lose it all.

Can also store mats you wanna save here too. Just not account bound mats.

The only advantage for this feature is to keep yourself from spending it… (not judging… I do it too) but you can do this with a guild bank to which it costs a little to get started (buy in on your investment) I personally found it to be totally worth it.

Hopefully this is an acceptable way to solve your problem. Unfortunately as it was stated earlier this was actually removed from the game (with wallet I believe).

ANet wants that money to burn holes in your pocket so that you keep the economy flowing.

if you can’t keep your money together you’re at fault, not the game.

→ pointless “feature”, learn to manage your finances instead of demanding for an external system to do it for you.

I’d encourage this too, but I don’t know why you would stop at invite privileges if you don’t make the second account a leader of the guild you can’t promote your original account back to leader/ownership of the guild status.

“Storing” it in the TP is probably safer.

Invest the gold into BL weapon skins. Place purchase orders when they are ~50-60g. When you need the money, the skins have probably hopped to 100-200g in price and you’ll make a nice profit.

Guild banks have a 1000g limit per section. Personally I liked it back when we could deposit money in our own banks but not going to lose any sleep over it. As someone else said, just put a low bid in for something on the TP. Even better if it magically fills somehow

as already mentioned this was a feature before the account wallet feature.
During that time tho you also had to store all of your physical dungeon tokens (items) in your bank as well..

Guild banks however do have that feature,and it also applies for all of your guild banks (3 banks= 3 places to store your gold)
A lot of players make their own guild simply for the extra storage.

No thank you to reverting to the character bound system we used to have. Having to use the bank to constantly shuffle gold across alts was far too aggravating. The wallet we have now is streamlined and convenient. We also know exactly how much gold we have at all times simply by looking in the inventory.

If you are having impulse control issues with making purchases, having the money in the “bank” isn’t going to prevent you from buying. Fix what needs fixing on the inside, not outside.
