I would love a feature in game that takes what i say and put in into text for chat, i have a dyslexia more with weighting then reading and i would find this feature helpful. even though my dyslexia is not as bad as when i was a teen it still a problem especially when trying to type fast in conversations which happens allot since i love to rp…. MMOrping is one of the things that helped me allot growing up and working on this problem.

it would be nice if it worked like how mac dictation work hit a hot key twice to use voice to text feature and then hit that hotkey to stop.

Windows and Mac both have an API that can convert speech to text. Very few programs make use of it; apparently it’s easier to describe what it’s supposed to do than to actually make it work. I’ve tried using the Windows version with GW2 without any luck.

For what it’s worth, plenty of programs don’t even do the flip-side, which is easier: converting text to speech. Mumble (default) does this; TeamSpeak does not.

I agree this would be a useful feature to have.

I don’t know how easy it would be to do however, and they haven’t even added a colour blind mode which is apparently very simple, so it seems unlikely to happen.
