why not? regardless of what you think of him, he’ll basically be doing free advertisement for GW2, which brings new players to the game, which means more revenue to ANet, which means more content.

Guess what, I’m a lawyer (you left out the y), joined the Bar in 1992 and litigated actively for 19 years in criminal defense. I’m also highly advertising resistant. The more someone tries to sell me on a product, the more I dig in my heels — I’m one for “here’s what we have to sell, it does these cool things, totally up to you if you buy it or walk away.”

And I loved the presentation, I was highly psyched before, during, and after.

So thanks for thinking I must be a weak minded easily pleased dreg of society.

i think his point is the opposite, that lawyers and dentists aren’t good as target audiences (be it because they’re resistant to advertising or whatever), but it’s still a stupid thing to randomly bring up in a videogame forum. it’s like bragging about how much you know and look at all the hard words and terms i’m using.

Angry Joe’s opinion can generally be trusted, but the problem is in this case is that he knows as little as we do.
