Hello, Staff, members.

I prepurchased Heart of Thorns Ultimate edition. and the release date is getting close. I was wondering if we get any info on how to start the download of the expansion?

Do we get a mail to the link to a site? Or is it automatically updated?

Just wondering what the process will be.

If you have been playing recently, it has already downloaded portions for you. We will also most likely have a patch on release but the majority of the files are already in your client.

I assumed you entered the code you got. That’s it until they push the patch out. Hopefully they will do this sooner than at launch. I expect they would either tomorrow or Thursday morning (for them) the latest.

We wouldn’t want to see something like the last major patch that took way too long to download for it’s size.

If you have registered your HoT Serial Key, there is nothing ‘special’ to do. Your client will update, as usual, with each patch released.

If you have not registered your Serial Key, you may do so via the ‘My Account’ link above, and through the ‘Game Content’ tab within.
