when i look back its been a long time, man this is epic.

I started as warrior Charr i used kill spider lings, clean scrapyards, watch over devourer Hatchery i even repaired a submarine.

and Now I am a commander who is standing at the bring of destruction for the reign of chaos has come at last.

i used to feel so proud when Rytlock used to send email congratulating me, now from a simple soldier i am the commander ofthe pact which comprises of the best , smartest, bravest people Tyria has ever seen.

its a huge responsibility too.

in World of Warcraft the story ends once i hit the level cap, and ask me the story what is it?

collect 10 bear rumps, kill 10 boars thats it from 1 -90 same thing over and over.
after level cap we gear up and raids have story but in the end a epic cut scene is played where thrall kill the big evil guy. really? He wasn’t even with me in the raid it was me and my guildies but thrall, Maarad, all these NPC takes the credit and best part thrall don’t even know i exist.

in GW 2 I am a commander, I am the part of an awesome unified team who chats,who argues and also asks opinions, I have a voice, I have suggestion an even choices to make.

people have complained about Zhaitan,but on a practical level that’s a cool fight Zojja rips the tail of Zaithan and make the beast loose balance to fly next fry its wings so it falls and clings to a falling rubble now shoot.

Anet thanks a lot for this epic story, even single player games fails to deliver this epic story progression, and hope in future content also you will make my character relevant to the main story of tyria.

GW in my opinion has the best story and lore out of all MMO’s I’ve played (And I’ve played just about all of the big ones, save for EQ and FF)

From Guild Wars Prophecies and everything that followed, to Heart of Thorns.
I’ve never been disappointed.
Even in Vanilla, while some parts were cheesy, they were pretty quality compared to others games. The Zhaitan fight could have been much better but the first time I went through it I was amazed. I spent most of the time just screenshotting because it was so epic and I felt so many goosebumps.

I have to say HoT though….this one has to be my favorite in the series. The storyline is so dark. So epic. So rage inducing on an emotional level.
I love it.
And DAT ENDING. 11/10
I’m excited for the next Living World Season
And the next expac.
