hello Guild Wars community,

While everyone is arguing about the new expansion pack containing the core game for the same price, am I the only one that is upset that there’s no free character slot on the standard edition, if they announce a new profession they should add a character slot for the standard edition as well. It’s really upsetting for a player’s been playing the game for while and only want the standard edition because they are not bothered about other digital items they will need to fork out more money just to play the new “profession”. It’s £34.99 + £8.50 for 800 gems = £43.49 for a expansion with a character that’s a price of a full console game. Money it’s not my problem it’s more of a fact I think we deserve a bit more for the money.

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same opinion.

I guess you have not read a lot of posts. This has been addressed multiple times and a character slot is one part of the problem.

Everyone is complaining about char slot. No way you missed that.

I don’t know if you’ve been reading the forums/reddit/various articles on gaming news sites, but pretty much Everyone is kittened over this.

however, the forum moderators’ tendency to just merge everything means that the three or four separate issues end up looking like one single issue, but no-one can agree what it is. all the misinformation this causes can’t be helping.
