So far I’ve unlocked 20 points in the jungle solo, I’m usually a solo player for WvW scouting or PvP, but here I am in the jungle unlocking my first elite out of 17 toons…

I have spent nearly 7 hours in the jungle now, can I use my greatsword on my necro yet? Nope… Can’t even use reaper skills or anything I paid for in terms of class mechanics to use in the new content..

Can I get hero points for elites outside of HoT map?

Has anyone unlocked their elite and how long did it take?

If you have unlocked your elite, how?

What is your best bit of advice about hero points towards newer players or those who don’t understand PvE?

You can unlock the greatsword with 60 points and start using the Reaper, albeit with severely less skills/traits than would be desired and the 3 core trait lines need to be done.
