How are armor, jewelry, weapons, and backpieces going to work on the revenant? The playstyles of each legendary stance are so different from one another it would be odd to be tied to one set of gear in combat. When I swap stance does it hotswap my gear so that both stances are benefited by the stats I choose on my gear? If I go with the tanky dwarf stance and a damage stance, do I have to favor gear for one over the other? If I want a tanky stance I want tankier gear. If I want a damage stance I want dps based gear.

I am really interested in what devs have to say about this.

It’ll probably function like all other classes. Its a profession, not a special snowflake.

When you swap your ranger’s pet, do you have 2 sets of gear for each pet? No. You pick 2 pets that suit your build/armour. Pick 2 legends to suit your build/armour on your Revenant.

A Celestial Revenant sounds OP! I like it!!!

my thoughts as well, with me going either Soldier (so i can use utilities to change to power, precision or condition damage) or Celestial (to cover all bases)

With only 2 legends I fail to see how it will work better then ele, probably some traits and sigil tricks. Also depends on how different the legends are and their number we need actual gameplay enough speculations.

Exactly. As more legends come, some will be more ideal to pair together than others. You probably won’t pair a condition legend with a power one, but you may pair the tanky one with a support one.

It only sounds so different because they’ve only gone over 2.. a power one and a condi one. It’s a safe bet the remaining 2 are a bunker one and a utility one.

It’ll be no different than any other class. Guardian chooses staff for the utility, greatsword for the damage. Necro chooses staff for the utility, scepter for the condi. etc etc.
