Will this still be available to get if we don’t pre-order HoT? Just making sure!

Typically, pre-order items aren’t available standalone later on. It cheapens the concept of pre-ordering – which is something we do in order to get exclusive stuffs.

So, I’d say “no, and with good reason”. But hey, maybe ANet’s of a different mind. (Doubtful, though.) -Sid

And neither does anyone else. Probably ANet doesn’t know if they will or not at this point.

The original mini Rytlock is still available through the digital deluxe core game upgrade in the gem store. While no-one can say for sure, that suggests to me that the new mini would continue to be available after launch in the same way.

didnt they make previously exclusive mini pets attainable again a few years down the line in gw1? and the fact that mini rytlock is still attainable from deluxe upgrade has me confident it will be.

i got mine though so if not haha

HoT has also a Deluxe upgrade in the gemstore, so yes its still available after launch

It’s not a pre-order item. It’s a deluxe edition item.
