Now that I think about it, when the pact fleet was destroyed we have speculated whatever happened to the remaining members of DE. However, Mr. Sparkles and Garm where not in the ship and I do wonder if they’ll do anything. I guess I understand why Mr. Sparkles didn’t join, but Garm is at least in terms of gameplay mechanics: essential. I think Garm’s absence solidifies this topic: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/lwd/I-think-Eir-may-die/first#post5073751. Then a super far-fetched guess of mine: other ships are looking for survivors and in one of those ships is Garm and Mr. Sparkles. Or maybe they will be forgotten by the writers who knows?

Maybe us fellow rangers and non-rangers will finally get our wish – no pets! I don’t want to speculate too much or predict any plot happenings because I’d feel obliged to defend my claim… but ugh, that’d be so great if pets were purely spiritual and we’d have f1-4 skills that correspond with each pet for the Druid specialization. Who knows!

They are going to stay behind to form Destiny’s Edge 3.0 while everyone else is lost somewhere in the Maguuma Jungle. With the powers of Lord Faren, Mr Sparkles, Garm, Chauncey von Snuffles III & a talking pot plant combined the world will be in safe hands.

Seriously though, no-one knows at this point. But it’s reasonable to think that Garm will act like a search and rescue dog to find Eir or that Mr Sparkles has some way of detecting Zojja.

Is this some nuance of the Living Story I missed? Where does it say Mr. Sparkles and Garm weren’t taken on the mission?

Clearly Eir has evolved into the “petless” ranger variety, and Garm is simply permanently stowed for the time being.

It would make sense for Eir to die to “atone” for Snaff’s death, likely sacrificing herself for Zojja.

Hopefully not, i don’t want anyone to die till Trahearne either gets burned or someone punches his voice actor so he actually puts emotions into his lines.
