I’m on the grind for Ex Machina, well namely all the currency I’ll need from the HoT map. I feel like it’s taking forever to gather Airship Parts, but I guess those stashes are supposed to help.

According to the wiki:

Nuhoch Hunting Stash:

• Airship Part (5, 30, 50, 55, 80, 105, or 130) (if the container dropped in Verdant Brink)
• Ley Line Crystal (5, 30, 50, 55, 80, 105, or 130) (if the container dropped in Tangled Depths)
• Lump of Aurillium (5, 30, 50, 55, 80, 105, or 130) (if the container dropped in Auric Basin)

Were these things nerfed, or is the drop rate just terrible? All I’ve ever gotten was 5 parts per bag from these.

It always gave 5 to me. Wiki is either wrong or those other quantities are extremely rare.

Those quantities are extremely rare, which is typical for the game.

Whenever the wiki publishes a list, one should always assume the ‘good stuff’ has a low, very low, or very rare drop rate.

Most people (including myself) can’t be bothered to track drop rates for things like Hunting Stashes and so it would be difficult for the wiki to include even guestimates of how often you get >5 versus just 5.

I used to farm stashes but found it wasn’t worth the hassle.

I found the best way is to farm T4 night. If you’re lucky, you’ll find someone advertising it early enough that you’ll have enough time to get enough participation for the day chest. After you get the meta chest for night, you can head over to AB and get your participation up as there’s usually a group working on the map. When doing octovines, tag all four of them for max rewards.

TD meta maps usually start filling up for the boss about 40 minutes before. This gives you plenty of time to get participation. The gerent event usually ends right when the AB challenges begin. Quickly hop over to AB and look for a good map.

You can repeat the above two cycles which is what I did for all of the collections. Unfortunately, you cannot do VB and TD as they conflict with each other. Adventures are a good way to get participation up if there are no events although it’s rather boring.
