My friends are talking about HoT; then suddenly they thinks it might need “another download”

Do we have to download for new expansion or HoT? Thanks

Your current client (Gw2.exe) will be updated to HoT just like any other patch. Expect the patch to be around 7 GB.

If all the data miners were honourable and didn`t spill anything they found, then yes. Everything that was not in the Beta will have to be downloaded.
