In the immortal words of Inigo Montoya “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

In Colin’s recent article he was quoted as saying “Our area” refering to new PvE content in HoT. Many people are taking that to mean that HoT will only have one area released for PvE. It would be nice if ANet would define some terms so that the community doesn’t jump ship at a mis-quote.

Please be so kind as to define the following:

1) Zone –
2) Area –
3) Region –
4) Map –
5) Biome -

They did say that in the months leading to the release of HoT that they would be defining each aspect of the expansion and giving us lots of detail.

You’re going to get the odd person that says “Oh, one new zone. Lame.” and not read it properly as “New area, undefined number of zones.” just ignore them until they get the right idea.
