Theory time. During the Mordrimoth fight, he makes puppets and illusions to distract and fight you. they are of living characters until you get to the final one, your Oder mentor from the Orr campaign. Tybalt was able to be brought back through the dream to help fight, but Mordri never saw/heard him. When you regained control, he even speaks to the PC as if he has a will of his own.

Yeah for those having not done the end story, i’d suggest removing the npc name from your title. Otherwise kinda pointless having a spoiler tag…

hows that? =) and if they were from my memories that he was “brought back” why was he acting of his own accord? i think ley lines + dream + mysts = Apple vendor gets a second chance!

The Dream connects everyone, sylvari or not. That’s why the Firstborn were born able to talk and do things, rather than being mindless idiots with no skills.

Sorry, but that’s not how the Dream works. Nothing that happened there was entirely real. Everything that has lived, and somethings that haven’t or haven’t yet, has an echo in the dream. Tybolt existed, therefore he exists in the Dream and Mordremoth could access him since it would mess with you.

Rytlock, Marjory and the character you didn’t bring with you didn’t actually enter into the Dream. They were waiting outside the whole time without any interaction with Mordremoth, so why should your old mentor be real?

I think you’re talking about the Mists. Not necessarily the same thing.

It was a nice touch at any rate. My sylvari was happy to see Sieran back
