Here’s a screenshot of a part of the fight I got completely stuck on. So what exactly am I supposed to do here? Interacting with it while gliding didn’t work…

You can’t do much except die and repeat. This bug hasn’t been fixed yet.

At that point you’re done, suicide and redo. I’ve encountered this several times now, repeating the HoT story.
