In light of the recent Revenant reveal, I feel this is a well within reach change that can greatly improve QoL. Some staff skins are already trident skins, but not vice versa. This can give them a second life and actually see some use!

I personally would go for a simple staff look, think Donatello ninja turtles. I’m sure others wanting a more martial weapon look wouldn’t mind some trident skins.

I see Scythe staff meta in the near future…

Perhaps they’ll have spear skins, as a way to give us land spears without having to go the trouble of implementing land spears.

You and me both.. Hahaha land spears would be cool too!

I also want Tridents for staff skin. But keep in mind what would happen if Anet eventually gave us what we really want…. (aka Spear and Tridents on land) it would conflict with that addition of tridents to staffs. But they already share a lot of models already. So not sure about that theory for Trident —-TO-→ Land .

I’d like to see land spear skins for staves too. The legendary spear and tormented spears are the nicest looking weapons I’ve seen and I would love to use those skins in place of the staff skins we currently have.

Nah that would make it close of future specialisation options i.e. when / if they eventual want to give land spears. I say if we can get ANet to change something let it rather be including land spears in the next batch of specialisations (btw do we have a release plan for specialisations i.e. will they be released only as part of expansions or possibly also as part of living story?).
