Guild Wars 2

Currently, I’m considering buying the expansion from DLGamer which is an official retailer of NCSoft (or something like that). But what actually happens when you send them your money? Do they e-mail you a code or what? I’m not very savvy when it comes to things like this, lol.

Any help would be appreciated!

Also, can you actually get just solid copies of the expansion? As in like, they come in a box?

You can get boxed copies but then you have to wait for shipping, if you get digital they basically send you a code and you redeem it. The perk is you get it faster though

I already have full unlocked dragon hunter. Working on herald now. THe maps are actually pretty cool too.

That’s your opinion.. I’m actually enjoying it. Then again I didn’t buy it for the elite specs. I bought it since I got so many hours out of the first game and looks like I will get many more hours out of this one

I purchased HoT from DLGamer.

They send you a confirmation email that tells you to log into your DLGamer account and go to ‘My Products’. When you do that, you will find a serial number, and also a step by step guide telling you how to apply it to your GW2 account.

I purchased the disc and loaded it onto my PC and each time I try to access HoT it tells me that to proceed I must purchase HoT, which I have done. What can I do to sort this out please?

Yep, it’s been super fun, and honestly with a weekend coming up, it shouldn’t take longer than a few days to fully unlock your elite.

Agreed. I’m not touching this POS, and am furious at all the locked (even REMOVED) content for those not buying HoT, they are basically trying their best to force people to buy it. Eff that, I’ve pretty much decided I’m done with GW2 and Anet, this is crap

HoT is a waste of time. Spend your $50.00 bucks elsewhere.
