Guild Wars 2

Since Norn are too big for my tastes and the female Charr’s voice makes me want to walk into the Citadel of Flame and ask where I sign up, the only race/gender combos I haven’t used yet are male Human and female Asura so I should probably pick one of the two.

If I’m making a Human, he’d be the descendant of my Ritualist and Food Taster Rhendu, a couple of my guildies shipped her with him, it was weird. He can bench a continental shelf.

If Asura… Well… She’s losing this battle. But at the end of the day, it’ll come down to which character’s voice I feel works best for the revenant. I gotta make sure I wanna play this one or that’s more resources invested on a third soldier that I never want to play again.

I’m gravitating towards female Charr.

I’m saving my revenant to be a charr— i play all races except charr, hopefully anet wont ignore charr features like their tails & the tremendous back gap when they have back items~ hopefully thatlld be fixed by then

Charr Male for my first Revenant. I have a mix of Charr and Azuras, I may make a Female Charr along side with my male one Best of both worlds. And 1 Azura Male Revenant.

I cant have a Charr because of how big they’re in the Character Select.

you can make a charr fairly small actually. In “default” hunched stance a max small charr stands arround the height of a human male…just for some trivia lol. As for the blindfold… i doubt its mandatory..though it most likely is going to be the class “trademark” like for example the noble masquerade thing for mesmers, the blue “ankh” for the guard and the skulls and black\green thing necros are always depicted with.

Actually I kind of assumed the blindfold would be one of the starting items since it seems to be the class defining piece of armor, like the guardian pauldrons with the symbol and the ele elemental eye.

So far my favourite races have been Charr and Norn, they just look bad-kitten! Have not been a huge fan of humans and heavy armour looks awesome on the aforementioned two.
That being said, more for a personal canon, got to go human on this one – play as the decedent of my GW1 main who fought alongside Jalis and helped kill Mallyx – feels like a good choice to have my Revenant tied to the other historical characters. Will keep the surname too

Definitely a Charr and probably a Norn.
Charr because I like them, and I want to be like Rytlock-sempai~ (Okay, maybe not that, but I do have one planned. }]:3)
Norn because I feel it’s appropriate for one to adopt the legacy of legends as he forges his own.

Easy choice for me.

2 Humans(necro and guardian)
2 Asura(mesmer and warrior)
2 Norn(thief and ranger)
1 Charr(elementalist)
1 Sylvari(engineer)

Since Rytlok is the first Revenant I expect a bunch of sheep (players) making Charr Revenant characters.

There was a red post where he said he might make a Sylvari because the glow was really cool on a Revenant. It would be ironic if this caused a flood of Sylvari and Charr Revenants and if it made a Human Revenant the contrarian choice.

(I changed my choice of Asura to Sylvari based on that post)

Most likely Human. I don’t know why, but I enjoy playing as humans in fantasy RPGs. Not sure if it’ll be a male or not. My current main is already male, so it seems uncreative to basically copy my old main onto the Revenent, but making someone of the opposite gender always strikes me as kinda perv-y, especially when the majority of female armor borderlines skimpy.

even while i am probably gonna hate the profession, my plan is ether making my ritualist or a female asura.

I play charr and asura, and I have no problems. Sure there are some items that have absolutely horrible clipping issues, but it’s not as bad as people make it.

i dont care that much about clipping either…i rather worry about kittenty quality on charr and we do got almost a whole wardrobe (with a few exceptions) to show that my worries are justified..

I don’t care about clipping this much as people seem to be complaining about.

But I am stuck between Human and Norn.
I only have 1 human, and 2 Norns.

I like Norns, but also like humans.
But I hate Human’s Racials…. No offense. But Norn Racials just are more handy.
