most likely a question alot of people are asking in the forums about how to get this armor set ingame, i know afew ways (i think) to get this set. Im posting this topic to ask if anyone else knows any other way other than the ways im about to post on how to aquire the chests.

1. the ‘rare’ noxious pods that you can find around dragons stand that require a machete to open.

2. dragons stand map bonus from doing events

3. the mouth of mordremoth(not my favorite event atm due to people not fully understanding it and what to do)

4. apparently you get a chest from your personal story

There are 3 sets of this armour (light, medium, hard). You get one piece from the personal story, so theoretically run some alts through the personal story to get more pieces, although there are 18 possible pieces so that would take a while.

I assume, like the weapons you get earlier on in the personal story, the armour comes from a vendor on the map somewhere. Likely a vendor that opens up after the zone event similar to the Arah zones.

ive checked near enough every vendor in dragons stand all they sell are the usual salvage kits and a second tab where you can get the machetes for the pods i was thinking of running alts into the story but the issue is surly the chests will be locked for the class so ranger can only pick medium ele light and guard heavy. i dont know whats happens after you kill the mouth other than the rewards.

Can confirm, the end story chest lets you select 1 piece out of the 18 pieces.

Yep, I previewed it all on human male and female and decided I wanted the light gloves, most (the rest of the light set other than head and feet is next, for female). But rather than deal with finding bank space to transfer it I chose the light gloves on my thief so my mesmer could transmute right away. Worked fine.

I do hope it’s not a one time only reward per account for finishing the story. I have a few more alts that will be going through the tale

i way pointed to a dragons stand a day or 2 ago and found a few noxious pods, in one of them i got a ley stone glove box, im still wondering how the noxious pods spawn, i only found them on that one map haven’t seen any since. i was wondering if there tied to the map tier or completion of the main event, anyone know?

Now to find out how to get the Bladed armor top since it’s not purchasable….

bladed armor is purchasable after you get the itzel language mastery :P but each box is 500 airship parts i think

Yes. Every character that completes the story gets to choose any piece of the armor they want, even if they can’t wear it. You can get the full collection without ever doing the DS meta provided you have enough characters. Doing so is also a good way to make some reliable crystalline ore from the last few story steps.

The only account based rewards are the bonus mastry XP and the achievements. Everything else will be granted to every single character the first time through.
