Point of no Return spoilers!
[spoiler] Divine Fire played a major role in today’s patch, it appears to be a very potent weapon against the Mordrem, and potentially all Elder Dragons. This fire is essentially a gift from the gods themselves, given to the forgetten, that they chose to pass on to the humans, the god’s chosen race. Rytlock is searching for a mysterious sword in the mists, that’s from Orr, and possibly affiliated with the gods.

My theory is that this sword, Sohothin, its flames are that of divine fire, and perhaps that is it’s power. The forgotten and a few other races were nearly wiped out by the Elder Dragons, perhaps the Gods gave them a weapon that could easily harm them. The second the flames were lit and the door was opened, the mordrem fled, which is something they’d never do.[/spoil]

WHy would he be looking for something he already has? Rytlock has Sohothin… And if he didnt have it (which he did) you can see him with the sword in the trailer…

He tried to use the sword in a ritual to cleanse the foefire and the ghosts of Ascalon, but something went wrong and a portal to the Mists opened. The sword fell in and Rytlock jumped after it to get it back.

So for some time at least Rytlock definitely did not have the sword in his possession. Apparently he will find it, because we can see him wielding it in the HoT trailer.
