Braham Eirsson - a wrong name
What about this npc name:
Kristyna Sohnstag
“Take heed! I haven’t taken leave of my sense. I’ve seen creatures of metal and steam!”
Yeah, we all know this npc in Hoelbrak, but her name makes NO SENSE! Sohn, means “son”, and Tag means “day”. Sonsday? This is the sort of nonsensical names you end up with, when you don’t understand the naming convention, and just combine a few words that sound nice.
For the record, my own character name DOES make sense. :P

Maybe it’s a typo and they meant to name her Sonntag. That’s the sort of error I can see someone make who is writing Sonntag from memory and doesn’t double check the spelling.
ANet may give it to you.

Wow, I didn’t suspected that this topic would be alive for so long :P
I still haven’t changed my opinion, that Braham’s surname doesn’t fit. If Eir was accomplished dragon slayer when Braham was born that would be natural. Son would be named after more famous of parents despite any likes or dislikes, but as I remember she was “only” well renown sculptor in that time, as opposed to legendary status of Braham’s father( Borje the Sun Chaser). True that Eir’s legend vastly overshadowed Borje’s, but it was after many years.
When did he get his last name?
