Dodgy Crowd, the horror
Almost ripped my hair out for this too . Yeah.
I completely agree that there needed to be a challenge mote for that one; it’s already one of the hardest, if not the hardest achieve in LS2.
One hint for those still trying to do it: You can disable the sepia by turning off post-processing in your graphics options. This is also handy if you want to see old LA in full color in first season PS. And if you are using the aviator effects, you can undo the sepia there, or do the “low” setting to get a nifty colorized version of the world.
How sad that they consider fixing shortcuts and that e-sports nonsense more important than bugs and shoddy achievements, like this crap.

The other thing is knowing that the whirlpools appear where the elementals die.
The achievement would be too easy and unpunishing if you would not have to replay everything.
Don’t forget that you can get rid of the sepia effect by removing post-processing from the options.

It’s challenging on it’s own. Punish people by start the instance all over again, fight same wave of centaurs, hear the same voice again and again because you tripped on some sandpool that earth ele created//and he can randomly cast sandpool himself too.
It’s not fun to try again.

also the boss drops them at his own feet sometimes just to spite you, which is real fun when you’re stuck playing a dagger thief.

How so? If you can reach it you already know you can clear everything that comes before it anyway. It’s just artificial longevity. It was the second hardest achievement I did behind it’s all about time and that one required some serious outside the box thinking like bringing along fire elemental powder for the second phase.

To punish you for failing.
