You also got a whole bunch of rewards along the way.

Your reward for completing the story is really the whole pile of things you picked up from each separate instance.

The question remains: what is the point of creating the false expectation of an end-of-chapter reward? Engendering disappointment?

I‘d honestly have felt better about the whole thing if I hadn‘t received anything at the end rather than a gift from a ‘friend‘ containing 1 blue, 1 white and a smattering of greys.

Wasn’kitten bug that some people didn’t get the gear box at the end? Pretty sure that’s why some got garbage and others got rare/exos…

I got three yellows. I thought that was standard. Yeah, you got the cold shoulder.

Me too, yay forge fodder.

The loot aside, I did feel the story in itself was rewarding, very nicely done.

We do get nice rewards for each part of the story we complete, but the final bit should give us something juicy and unique to the story.

Bring back rewards in the style of the Obilisk Shard a lot of people liked the home instance items. The area is so under used as it is, we need more reasons to go to it.
