I wonder what Mad King got in store.Aside from the last year attraction.Cloud be a little more horror story/movie based game or maybe jumping puzzle that look like a haunted house that you need to scare people to get to next stage.

truthfully if they redo the same event as last year id be happy it seemed like so much in last years and i didnt have enough time to do it all but anything new will be welcome too. i really thought halloween was one of the better updates the last year seeing how close it was to launch. id love a mini mad king i still treasure mine i got in gw1

Same as last year, with maybe a few more things there. Another “chapter” to Mad Memories, an item to replay the “Mad King destroys the fountain” cinematic like we have the other two items thus far . . .

Simple: I want the Mad King to be freed

I’d be happy with a repeat of last year’s Halloween, except the part where the fountain gets destroyed. Instead, Levvi has developed a new Mists Portal that allows us to go into the Mad Realm and smack the Mad King around to make sure he isn’t getting too uppity.

I’d like the miniatures to return! I missed out on those! Other than that I was very content with what they brought out last year!

I would love for the Mad King to terrorize the capital cities directly, would be nice if we could get full access to the Mad Realm. I’m not sure about you normal people but I just love Halloween so much! I live for this time of year. When the trees are resting, the sky is cloaked, and the air is frigid teeming with serenity. It makes the other eight insufferable months tolerable.

Hopefully they find some way to improve the starting area of the Clocktower. Otherwise, it really doesn’t need to change much. The question is, should they keep the Mad King’s Slippers at the top?

Mad King will become Scarlets minion and invades different zones by flooding with sweets.

New AND returning weapon skins that are more fairly acquired (I’m looking at you grinning shield and great chainsword). I’d also love to do The Mad Tower jumping puzzle again. That was by far one of my favorite holiday jumping puzzles because it was tense and fun.

Oh also, returning candy nodes across the world, including rich ones (and wth Anet, no Peppermint nodes for Wintersday?)

Halloween masks! Kind of like the queen’s jubilee ones, but more thematic to Halloween.

Some Halloween backpieces would be nice. I liked the coffin idea that A poster above suggested. If we’re continuing with the flower theme, maybe some kind of scary deathbloom flower.

We have the dragon wings from dragon bash, but maybe some bat wings backpieces? I would love some of those.

Well, I liked this idea so much, that I made a separate topic for it. A haunted house would be a lot of fun, and completely in the spirit of Halloween.

Let new players replay the previous quests, so they can also get the Memories, and so those who lost theirs can get them again.

I’m seeing some awesome ideas in this thread. My list, right now is:

- A mad king weapons set with the crazy jack-o-lantern aesthetic
- A haunted house dungeon.
- Halloween mask to collect! One for the achievements, some to craft and maybe some in the gem store!

What I would like to see:
- New Armor/Weapon skins (even in gem store, as long as they are not RNG based)
- Perhaps new town clothes.
- Permanent tonic/accesory, I really like them.
- Maybe musical instrument?
- Back slot skin, e.g. “Mad Memories II”
- Mad King realm as a fractal!
- Jumping puzzle (permanent, if possible)!
- Creative achievements (killing 50 ghosts in ascalon, 50 spiders in kryta etc. is not creative…).

What I wouldn’t like to see:
- Another minis (there are tons of them, and maybe ~1% of the playerbase uses them)
- Time gated achievements, such as do X things per day for Y days.
- One-time events, where you have to be at specific day in specific place.
- Extremely rare armor pieces, like molten jetpack or monocle.
- Unfinished, bugged content.

I don’t think I ask for much, any permanent additon to the game is always nice.

I would like to see the Mad King unleash his army and destroy every last Aetherblade and also the machine that spawns them because how else can there be so many?

Then for him to summon forth a cauldron of power and turn Scarlet Briar into a salad with pumpkin themed salad dressing and devour her thus putting an end to the LS once and for all.

Yup! I still have plastic spider tonics from last year. I’ve been hoarding them. (Since I suck rocks through a twisty straw at costume brawl)

You’ll be in for a good surprise. A lot of good content came from that holiday:
- a realm of the gods area
- awesome jumping puzzle
- scavenger hunt
- 2 interesting pvp modes
- awesome mini dungeon

I do want a return of the clock tower I dont even need it to be changed.

I also want lunatic inquisition to return but i’m a bit afraid if it does. The minigame not only had no unique rewards, but had no achievements. This made it so anybody who was playing it was there to play the game. And the game was only a game if nearly everyone knew what they were doing. If achievements are added to it it would become plagued by the achievement hunters.

Besides that i’m excited to see what new things anet can come up with.

Suggestion: Scarlet free Mad king Thorn and we fight them both and throw them back to mad realm ending living story.

Next Halloween? Not sure if i’ll still be playing then, that’s a long ways off…this Halloween however i’ve heard the Mad King content was pretty solid (never played it just got the game in april) so i’m down for that or anything new.

I would love for all previous events and achievements to be available, alongside with a whole new addition of festive events

If this year’s Halloween is like last year’s, I’ll be happy. I spent most of my time in the Mad King’s realm killing candycorn elementals and party toys, and that’s what I want to do this year. I love the “other realm” instances that GW does, always have since th Underworld and Fissure of Woe in GW1.

1. All of our Mad king armor pieces were destroyed/converted in the Magic find patch, so hopefully we can get new Mad king armory that we can sell.

2. Hopefully candy corn return with new, better crafting sinks. The twisted portal for example.

3. The Greatsaw! Halloween themed weapons are the most fun especially for necromancers.

4. Hopefully the clock tower returns, but hopefully not the trib mode clock tower for those who thought the clock tower was too easy. I never beat th cloctower, which was more about fighting the engine and camera than making difficult jumps

5. I like the idea of having last years mad king fight randomly pop up as a fractal.

7. Witches costume back in the gemstore, or even better a Y2 witch costume.

A Halloween toy that summons and controls costume brawl Quaggan minions.

I want Undead Lich’s wings.
