Like the title says the Orrian Pearl Node is not appearing in the vendor for some people! I haven’t bought it yet and it’s not in vendor. Fix plox!

Please add your name to the list in the bug thread, so they can have an idea of how big of a problem this is.

I was able to buy the node, my fiance wasnt. So, at reset we partied up and farmed my home instance, the Fire Orchid node, which I swear I never purchased was in my home instance, anyway, I’ll check later, maybe it was some weird melding of his home and mine, but he still isn’t able to see the oyster node.

Edit: Just checked Draconis Mons and the FO Node isn’t there, it’s possible I bought it in the last week preparing to gear up, but I honestly don’t remember doing so, my fiance bought all previous nodes awhile back though.

Anyway, it does seem there might be some sort of bug relating to these 2 nodes and when (or if) they were purchased.

It sounds almost like they reused an existing node id for the new node… but that would be just stupid. So I’m hoping it’s not that. :/

That’s almost certainly the problem, since they did the exact same thing with one of the new nodes in the past. I believe it was the Petrified Wood Node, but I may be mistaken on that.

More than likely they’ve just got the Orrian Oyster vendor item pointing to the ID for the Fire Orchid Blossom. Anyone who has already bought the Fire Orchid won’t see the Oyster because you already own the item its pointing to. Anyone who hasn’t bought the Orchid and buys the Oyster will get the Orchid instead.

Or gets both nodes. Like I said, I don’t remember purchasing the FO node, but I’ve been working on home instance for alt accts too and it’s hard to remember. It struck me as odd that the FO node appears in my home, but I have 300+ in my depositables, so I may have purchased it and just don’t remember, BUT, I can’t prove it one way or another, so we’ll just have to see what Anet says.

Same problem here on multiple characters…. have all the other nodes.
