It looks like some sort of scorpion skeleton but I can’t make out what is glowing and what the stuff is covering it…

It’s a devourer nest. They all look like that. Presumably they kill the males and make a nest out of their corpse? I don’t know.
The purple stuff is the eggs.

Ya Devourers have a custom they follow when it comes to reproduction

1) Their nests are often made from the dead bodies of male Devourers so when the male Devourers are old enough they are killed by the female Devourers and their bodies are used for their nest. (Their bodies must be freshly dead to keep the eggs warm with their blood and organs)

2) the purple stuff are Devourer’s eggs.

3) Stuff covering it is what I call Devourer Gunk because it is a type of slime made by Devourers to cover the nest to keep the eggs warm.

Also you can learn a lot of things about the other part of nature in the GW2 world if you explore enough.

Such as how Dolyak have similar habits as Elephants in GW world.
